What kind of life would you want to live

Not many people love doing the things that make a lot of money, and I can't think of any jobs that make a lot of money that you can work three days a week. They may be out there, but I'm pretty sure they aren't anything I love doing. Most people i work with don't love this - they love the paycheck. No one here is really all that happy.

In any case, regardless of how you interpret the "secure" part of the first option, it seems as though the implication of that option is that it's a life without much deviation from the middle. no thanks, not for me.

They're out there, but you cant just walk in and start doing them. Perhaps it is just delayed gratification. Nevermind, this is a dead end.


In the end, no matter what is important to somebody else, it is what makes you happy that matters to you. I hope everyone can attain that.

I've had enough years of rollercoaster.
That gets old.
With a merry-go-round kind of life you have the time and energy to enrich your life. You're not all caught up in your own petty drama. You can read and travel and form lasting relationships. It doesn't have to be boring. In my experience, the rollercoaster actually ends up getting boring. Imagine riding the same rollercoaster over and over. You know what is coming. It stops being exciting and just gets old and predictable (on top of dysfunctional) and probably will start making you sick after a while. Having a routine and surrounding yourself with people who don't turn your life upside down is fun. You just cant get lazy. You have to keep working on yourself, reading, learning, traveling, exploring.
