What is the worst job you have ever had?

I can't really complain... Never had a job I really hated. But the closest would be when I got talked into taking over for a ranch labor hand who was out sick for a couple weeks... 4:45AM sharp; cleaning up horse manure in the pouring rain, and hauling 300-lb barrels of sh*t up a muddy hill. If it had been more than a couple weeks, and if it hadn't been for WANTING to help out that ranch owner, I'd have quit the first day.

Otherwise, I'd have to say it was the boredom of working the morning shift in an electronics lab at a factory. Same faces, same walls, same floor, same everything, every day, 7AM to 3PM, day in & day out, week in & week out. I did that for 3 years for the decent pay and benefits, but I was glad when the economy started to go bad, and I voluntarily resigned rather than to go on call and stay as a 1099 worker. I'd be in the insane asylum by now if I had stayed. I need VARIETY!

when i was 15 got a job smashing concrete manway barrels( like the kind going down a sewer) with a sledge hammer 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. made it till first break, climbed over the back fence and went home... now id kill for that job. wouldnt need to work out anything but the legs

In the laundry when I was in prison.

Why?

1)It was so hot and humid in there you couldn't breathe
2)The floor was a concrete slab and all we had were the cheap assed prison shoes with little padding and absolutely no arch support. Three hours on your feet in those felt like 10.
3)The mind numbing monotony of the work.

interned for an electric utility. had to be there at 8 every morning or i got bitched at, even if i was like 2 min late. worked in a cubicle across from a supervisor (not mine) who was a cunt. she gossiped nonstop and kept tabs on me the whole time anyway. couldn't ever get my EF on unless she took off. i also used to have to go to the ghetto all the time on "feeder patrol" and basically walk around and make sure all the powerlines and capacitors were in tact. got meanmugged by ngz the whole time always. the company cars had radio comm with dual antennas and sort of resembled the po, so that didnt help either
