In the morning your levels of muscle and liver glycogen (stored carbs) are low, which means during your cardio exercise you will be burning more fat instead of glycogen. If you eat dinner at 7 p.m. and you eat breakfast at 7 a.m., that's 12 hours without food. During the 12-hour overnight fast, your levels of glycogen decline, as a result you wake up in the morning with depleted glycogen and lower blood sugar. It's best to deplete as much glycogen as you can so you burn more fat. Which is why morning cardio is most efficient way rather than just doing the cardio at night and burning all your glycogen from teh carbs you ate throughout the day.
Either way, cardio throughout anytime of the day is good, but for the most OPTIMAL FAT LOSS. Morning is the best
