WELLBUTRIN SR & AS USE--any advers reactions

any of you know of WELLBUTRIN SR enough to fill me in somewhat..havent got around to reading about it yet.....might take it --might not.......will it have any interferring actions with gear......


a little insight:

after my surgeries on my leg, my doctor said over the next year id have several bouts w/ depression(been on juice whole time---

(up till last 2 wks--cold and shit like that)

---never complained or been down but doctor says im depressed by keeping things in, me having lack of appetite sometimes, insomnia, and very fatigued......anyway i stop the gear cause of viral infection that was going around i got (dr. says it hit me harder cause of depression & my immune system is down) anyway was prescribed a strong antibiotic --100mg doxycycline ( which is why i stopped the gear for now) and WELLBUTRIN SR 150mg.....he told me that it would be for/help w/ the insomnia & fatigue---i just found out its for depression------

---do any of you know about this WELLBUTRIN and how strong of a depression pill is it considered--does this doctor think im crazy???? and will this have any adverse effects w/ gear--cause im about to get back on...??????!!!!!!

I take wellbutrin.

-It is an Anti-Depressant (SSRI).

It works pretty well, although ive experienced a few side effects from it.

It has NOT hurt my gains in any way. I am sure of that, however, since it stiumlates your central nervous system, ive experienced increased anxiety on the wellbutrin. Also, my appetite decreased. I have to force myself to eat like I used to.

Other than thats, its really effective for depression, although I liked Paxil a lot better, namely because paxil helps with anxiety. I had to get off paxil because of sexual sides, however.

well last thing im looking for is any more anxiety--thats why i cant sleep!!!!, how you deal with that effect while on wellbutrin.....

........also DECREASED APPETITE is the worst and last thing i want in the world---my appetite is already down some.......doesnt look like ill be looking forward to getting on this--thats even if i do get on it.....

If you can't sleep, get the normal Welbutrin and not the SR. You will have to take it twice a day, but less will be in your system at night.

150mg is a pretty high starting dose regardless. I went over 150mg for a period, and got real bad side effects (actually felt suicidal).

You should look into Effexor over Wellbutrin if you experience anxiety too. I'm on Effexor now and feel great with no major sides... It's an anti-anxiety and anti-depression medication, so it covers both bases. I can REALLY tell a difference. Cuts out the irrational lows...

P.S. I haven't done a cycle while on Effoxor, but I did one while I was on Prozac and didn't have any problems.

I get dizzy from wellbutrin. I think the zoloft worked better for me.

shit my script says wellbutrin sr 150mg: take one tab twice a day----"you saying this doctor thinks im nuts"

BTW--im sure it didnt help that i went to bed at 5am(worked a club) had the apt. 8:45 and went in a gym shirt i slept in that only SAYS-- GOT TESTOSTERONE? ----on the front and gym logo on back

I don't understand why he has you on SR twice a day. The whole point of SR (sustained release) is that you can take it once in the morning. Taking welbutrin SR twice a day is as logical as shooting cypionate ED.

He may have calculated the dose solely on bodyweight... the problem is that everyone responds different to welbutrin, regardless of bodyweight.

I liked the wellbutrin. If you have had a head injury it could be a problem It lowers your serotonim levels, and could make seizures more likley. I took it with my last cycle and had great gains. Just be careful and pay attention to your body.
