WELLBUTRIN SR & AS USE--any advers reactions

I asked my doc about effexor, but she recommended staying on the wellbutrin (since it was working so well). She also put me on paxil cause I was getting anxiety.
Its all working pretty good!

If it's not broken...

Glad to hear the mix is working good for you.

I've tried paxil, zoloft, lithium, and a few others I don't even remember now. Just remember that everyone's different and what works for one person may completely fuck another up. I know for me, zoloft had me practically thinking I was invincible, attacking family members, hurting myself, constantly angry, etc. You may have to try several different meds to normalize your moods but it doesn't really sound like you're especially depressed or anything (could be wrong), in which case I'd say f**k the medication.

I just quit taking Wellbutrin sr. I used it to quit smoking. Works awesome for that. It helps fight stress quite well.
The only side effects I had were dry mouth during hard aerobic excercise. My appetite was still great while taking 2 100mg a day. I took it one week while on cycle and it makes no difference in the workouts. I was working out before and it didn't interfere.
It is true about the nightmares at first. I only had really lucid dreams but if you tend to have bad dreams I can see them getting more realistic.
The best thing about the pill is that it allows you to not get pissed off as easily over stress. I have decided to quit taking them because I have been off the smokes for two months and I don't want to take any medicine if I don't have too. Good luck bro!

I am not depressed any more bro, Wellbutrin really helped me. I tried to taper my way off it before, but then I fell into depression again.

if you do not feel depressed or anxious, do not take any psych medicine.

trust me i wouldnt....i have been depressed somewhat since surgeries on my leg....but its my sleeping patterns(insomnia) thats been f*cking me up......want normal sleep again....doesnt that seem more like a anxiety issue....i can get edgy or where i just cant unwind or maybe even a little paranoid....but i think im just like that from all the shit that the doctors had to pump thru my body in those 5 surgeries i had in 12 days on leg

(came pretty close to not being here & losing a leg)

and it didnt help that i was on A HEAVY-cycle neither, they could hardly sedate me...!!!

alot of people dont think there depressed.......see im very confident,,outgoing..& basically told i was always a cocky-f*ck(sports)...and i just realized that to many people said i wasnt being me--i was actully calmer -quiter- & more soft spoken...and didnt complain enough--GO FIGURE....these were the people always telling me to shut-up or i was to confident......so i knew going to the doc might be a good thing---1 more doc isnt going to hurt....have about 4-5 i see at least once a month for leg still....
