ok. what do you guys think about an intense training session within 30 minutes of waking up......
i was thinking about waking up and poping my ec stack with cofee and a glass of water to hydrate. then, as soon as the ec kicks in (which usually takes 30 minutes as i chew the effedrine) hit the gym.
is it ok on an empty stomach?

thanks brothers

I did it for years and loved it. You burn mega calories doing early morning workouts and keep burning them throughout the day. I loved getting the workout done early. It left the afternoons and evenings free for the family. I didn't get stressed out at work if I was going too have to work late. It is the preferred time in my opinion. It does take some time, two to three weeks to get used to it.

morning is the way to go. The only prob I have is waiting for my breakfast to kinda digest. You can just dirnk a protein shake or something i guess. Its def better and you'll feel better all day. And yes it does take some gettin used to.

would you lift first thing in the morning on an empty stomach though?

I agree 100%. Go early and it will last all day. I get best results when I train on empty stomach. Plus with the ECA, boom..man your on the go !!

This is exactly what works for me. I go at 5AM when the gym opens. My reasoning for doing this was to get the workout done by 6:30-7:00AM. Then, planning meals and supplements the rest if the day was CAKE!!!!!!!!! I didn't have to worry about planning and timing the pre workout meal or the post workout. Also, after working out, all meals all day feed the body from the early workout. Now, if you need the pre-workout meal to get you going, then this might not be the way to go, but this does work for me. It was also habit for me having been in the military where the first thing you do is physical training. Caution though--when you do this you may feel ready to go to bed by 8-9 PM which I don't mind.

My trainer told me that you should never train with weights on an empty stomach, you need protein before and after your workout. You're breaking down muscle, and you need protein to help the building process. My trainer is Mike Francois, he did pretty good in the pro ranks, so I'm sure he knows a thing or two :D
