Wednesday Military press on 5x5 tough??

Can't really say from the pics but good progress man. My back does get a little tired from time to time especially when goin heavier but you get use to it or more conditioned. Sometimes I will take about 10mins before starting the presses to give my back time to recover a little and usually by the time I get into my sets it subsides.

yeap.. as simple as that.. do ur front squats or light squats first, followed by MPs and finished by ur DLs..
Oh, damn lol. I felt like deads should be first tho just outta priority. oh well will switch it up, thanks bran btw :) il ike being fat

What they said.

Additionally, I wouldn't get too worried about being "unproportional" or whatever . . . are your lifts going up steadily and is the scale moving? If so, don't sweat the rest of it.

unless im way off base here ive alway done my light, or speed squats first on wednesday, followed by deads, then some sort of overhead work i.e. jerk, push, or strict. im pretty sure its in your best interest to dead before the overhead work especially once you are going over double your bodyweight. imho your conditioning isnt up to snuff to handle the workload at this time.

i do standing OH presses after squat and before deadlifts.

the oh press doesn't really kill me b/c i don't try to strain my ass with the heaviest weight i can get away with.....no point

in weeks 3 and 4 of the advanced program you are putting max numbers overhead. now if you are not putting max numbers overhead then i can see where your coming from. However for me at 200lbs putting around the same weight overhead followed by 2.5 x bw pull from the floor would be difficult to say the least.

edit: i think it should also be noted that we CAN be conditioned to do these excercises in any order, which was the point i was trying to make to boardin. basically the overhead following the deadlifts are difficult simply due to a lack of conditioning to do just that.

i'm not that far yet... :)

i think you make a good point.....whatever our conditioning allows we should go for!
