Wearing hoodies/sweatshirts for the gym

when i prepare for a heavy lifting session, i will throw on a sweatshirt to keep my muscles warm in the beginning. It gives myself a feeling of security knowing i'm hitting the plates hard.
 
I know of power cleaners that wear sweat pants because otherwise they will grind their legs raw. For some reason the sweatshirt just goes with the sweatpants usually. Other than that i don't notice too many people do it.
 
I dress warm in the winter...so I can ride to the gym with the top down.
 
Haha, I always get a kick out the guys wearing hoodies when its 90+ out. Knit caps are also essential in the hot weather..

I really, really, really don't see how wearing a hoodie hurts my workout, especially when my numbers are going up so rapidly.

Amen to that -- I dont wear a hoodie, but if I did, this would be my response, haha... maybe ill start wearin one!

im not there to look good so i usually wear a hoody and sweat pants. Its freaking cold outside here so no point in wearing a jacket into the gym. PLus it helps keep me loose.

Yeah...I think you guys call it "cloudy".

I've had the top down on the car at least once a week for the last year...except for one pretty week where I was in the hospital.
