Was John MacEnroe on steroids?

His ex wife blabbed that during the heyday of wild Johhnny Mac, he was on the juice. Most people thought no way, hes a scrawny fuck but they dont realize that he could have been juiced without getting big. I tend to think that he was, but I think everyones on them but me anyway!

I saw a documentary on roid use and it listed lots of different pro athletes that used roids at one time or another and they specifically said that roids are not always to get big, and they used John M. as an example. I believe it was on the discovery channel, and it wasn't that long ago, probably in the last 3 months.

When I was a distance runner I used var for recovery. I play tennis with a few users and they are skinny mofos. There are so many variables in what you use and how you live your life that gear use does not fit a universal prototype.

when i was in highschool there was this guy who was on the swim team and he was ripped to shreds..all the chicks dug him and all he did was winstrol every swim season...we assume that because you juice you are doing it for size but others use for the extra edge

I would assume virtually any athlete at a top level will experiment with/use steroids at some time or another.

I remember reading an article years ago entitled.."David Hasselhoff: My battle with Steroid Abuse.".....LOL!!!

Perhaps Andre Aggasi is the biggest user of them all since he shaved his head bald. Could it be that good ole Aggasi was having a hair loss problem from the winny?:D

Juice is frustrating and that would maybe explain Mac's RAGING temper. In my indoor soccer games I have been so close to punching right through the plexiglass walls LOL!

Hmmm....

As I understood it, anabolics come in all types for all uses. Look at olympic athletes. They take stuff that doesn't always make them huge, but it does enhance the performance factor they need. Not all of it is for mass gains.

I'm an amateur athlete and I use juice primarily for faster recovery and healing rather than a direct performance increase. I get a very noticeable endurance increase while using certain gear as well.

Like Frackle said, most pro athletes have at least used them once. The sad thing is when guys like John MacEnroe say they used juice people think the same ole thing-"Roid rage made MacEnroe act the way he acted". Its just more bad press that juice doesn't need and only part of a bigger picture. I guarantee MacEnroe was no different on juice then off.
