I totally disagree. They are rejecting the world as it is. Conscientous objectors. Much as you've said that if God exists that you'd reject him. I eat meat so I'm an indirect killer. But I would hate to kill animals. I can't even be mean to a dog that deserves it.

My husband is a vegetarian.....I tried being a vegetarian for a while - but it was too hard....and I wasn't getting enough protein.... although sometimes I wish there were better ways to "harvest" the meat....
