Using 25gauge 5/8inch for delt injections, is this acceptable?

I'm not too big, about 195-200lbs, 5'10" and I test around 8% bodyfat. I have big delts for my size. This is the needle my doctor prescribed to me to use for my quads and delts, but I've known people to use 1 inch. I know I have 0 fat in my delt so I'm pretty sure it's going right in the muscle. Doesn't drip out afterward either and my blood tests for testosterone come back in the high normal range, about 8.5-14 depending on what day it is pulled. The range is 2.5-15 so I think I'm doing pretty good. If I have to go deeper, I will. This is for HRT, btw.

I use a 25g 1" pin, but I see no problems with 5/8

I used to use 5/8 now im biger so i use 1". Also when im bulking and carying fat and water...i use 1".

Thanks guys, the pharmacist looked at me like I was a moron for buying these needles. I think I will use a 1 inch from now on though. I'm not fat at all, but my Dad gave me my shot a few minutes ago and a little oil came out, that hasn't happened before. I need all that medication in me dangit! The last time I used a 1 inch it felt like someone hit me in the arm for about 4 days afterward. My Dad has never shot me in the glute, and I don't want him to hit a vein. I guess I'll have to pull some info off here for glute injections and let him read it. I've had people hit my glutes and they never hurt. Quads have always been extremely painful for me but the easiest site to do myself. They have way too much scar tissue built up now though. The last time I tried to do a quad injection I could hear the needle cracking through the scar tissue, it hurt so bad I started to get tunnel vision.
