I've seen plenty of white or mexican use the word with each other and blacks.

No I won't say the word to anyone else because I consider the word to be a part of ebonics and ebonics sounds like an inferior "slang" which I won't use.

Yea there is a difference between Nigga and Nigger. Nigger is who whites and other non-black refer to Blacks. Its filled with so much hatred, stereotypes, history during slavery and during the Civil Rights Movement - it evokes much emotion instantly.

Nigga is something that we call ourselves. Something that nobody else could or would call us, nor could they call themselves one since it derived from a time when our family members & ancestors were enslaved.

Mainstream America has always dipped in to our culture and used what they wanted. Take music for instance (Ex. Elvis). Rap music. In the late 1970s everyone said it would last. Now corporate america incorporates it everywhere (commercials, tv. shows etc), Fashion, etc.

It appears now that folks are try'in so hard to walk in our shoes. Doo rags/wave caps, saggin, talk, walk, etc. The opposite isn't true. You dont see Blacks tryin to be like Latinos, Asians, and Euros by imitating their cultural. Somthing to think about....

Elvis is a semi good example. Ask any person who is slightly intelligent and actually knows something about musical history and they'll tell you that rock and roll basically came from blacks. The record company needed someone like Elvis, who had the voice and emotion and the right skin color at the time, to make it popular to the white masses. So basically Elvis was the first white person able to sing rock and roll.

Racist my ass, a landmark has the name "negro" boo fucking hoo, negro means black in many languages. This is pathetic.

I personally have noticed way more racism from blacks to whites than vice versa. From tv with chris rock to everyday life. A white guy cracking black jokes would be shot but chris rock doesn't even get criticized.

I swear I wanna shoot the next person that uses the word racist. This is the stupidest thread ever.

Whites have always said jokes about Blacks, both in printed media with comics, to stand up comedian doing "black face" comedy, the workplace, country clubs, etc.

Yes there used to be jokes about blacks before, but I haven't seen any in the media since I was born. It's in the past, which sucks I know, but I don't notice any more whites making jokes towards blacks ... I do notice the opposite though.
