Probably because alot of black people know they can get what they want by claiming anyone who gets in their way is a racist. We whiteys have learned to defend ourselves.

Those are groups that are roundly denounced by the status quo and sometimes the legal system.

defend ourselves from what? are you people insane?

go make your own white only proms, you have every right to do so. or go to a white only country club. hell make your white only music station (besides country music television) maybe then you all will be happy.

what has chris rock said that would account as a racial slur towards whites. I've listened to some chris rock stuff, but I don't recall racial slurs.

Actually, Howard Stern (and others) have used the word 'nigger' on his show. As you've said, he speaks his honest opinions on any subject, including race.

Besides, I was strictly talking about the name of it which is direct racism ... saying something like they don't have enough black people on "Friends" isn't really racism. Get what I am saying?

Sometimes, it really is better just to keep your opinions to yourself, instead of saying something because "It's my God given right as an American, dammit. Ni**er, ni**er, ni**er. Haha. I feel so much better now."

Most of the black people who use this derogatory racial slur (because that's what it is) come from recent generations. You don't hear many 60 year old black people saying "What's up ni**er?" Those people lived in a time when lynchings, and hate crimes were more of a reality than they are today.

I choose not to use this racial slur, out of respect for the people who are hurt by it, since it reminds them of years and years of fear, pain, anger, hate, and death.
