Watching it now. They just had a commercial for some supp company with Liddell in it sponsored by BBing.com. WTF??? When's Elite gonna get some recognition?

I knew Diego was going to kill him, anybody who watches the show should have figured that. he is too strong and too good. I hope Forrest wins this next fight - should be a much better one
 
you think all these rappers natually hold their eyes like that cause they are so high often.. or they are always high when on camera.. just showed busta rhymes his eyes were basically closed.. snoops eyes are always closed.. i think some of them overdue it just so they appear to be high.. you can only smoke so much and you dont get high anymore..

I see Bonner winning, he seems to have more technical skill on the ground. I don't think neither of them will knock the other out while standing. If it doesn't go the distance, it will end on the ground somehow.

i dont think shamrock is gunna win.

iv only seen one fight withhim tho, and he was a huge disappointment. i fail to see where he is the legend, but hopefully this will be a good fight and i may be proven wrong

No fuckin way. I can't believe Franklin won. I am truly dissapointed. If not for that slip it could have been different. Nice staying in it at the submission attempts for both!!!
 
looked to me like shamrock just plain gave up after he fell, before the other dude even started pounding on him. Also the other dude seemed to be a pretty smart fighter.

First fight.

Diego is waiting- he keeps flaring his neck and hissing like a goofy ass snake.

Kenny is waiting- he looks like a sunken in woman.

they start fighting, kenny isnt doing shit they just circiling, diego realizes that kenny isnt gunna do anything and just starts bullrushing him, and swinging, and then takes him down and kenny couldnt defend himself.

Stephan Bonnar vs forrest griffin THE FUCKIN FIGHT!!!! THEEE FIIIGHT THEEE FIGHT IT WAS AWSOME!!!

so forrest and stephan go at it right from the start like they both raped and murdered eachothers daughters and were doing amazing- forrest of course didnt givea f uck about anything, fighting like a complete psycho loony.
got some good takedowns, but then bonnar busted forrests nose open- they thought it was his eye, stopped the fight, i was clenching my asshole for the rest of the fight praying they wouldnt stop it cause blood was everywhere from his nose. they keep going its AMAZING nonstop action, no words can describe how much fists and kicks and fury was in there.

at the end of the fight it was 28-29, 28-29, 28-29 unanimous for forrest griffin- and he deserved it. he gets the car, watch trophy and contract. fight was soo good that stephan bonnar gets a contract too.

shamrock vs that other guy:

shamrock just completely slips onto his back- looks like an idiot all within the first minute of the fight, tries to get his foot in a heel submission or something, doesnt work, then ken goes for a kick falls on his ass again- then otherguy gets on him and pummels him and reff stops it cause he couldnt defend himself.

that fight was amazing, FOrrest took some huge shots ..im impressed..for anyone who follows the show, here are the results of the undercard fights they didnt show on tv tonight.

You guys dont know Rich Franklin? Guy is awsome and has been around for awile. He just does not NHB full time. Tanner will be the only guy to give him a match IMO.

I called franklin first round by knock out,but nobody at work believed me, I shoulda damn well bet money.

and its good to hear both bonnar and forrest got contracts,we didnt have sound at work so I didnt know this until now
 
Shamrocks washed up. It was his last chance to do something in a fight and he blew it. He will never get a big fight again. He's not consistent. He never has been. Either that or they will rematch them. But I'm sure that Franklin will now want to go on to higher class fights.
That sucks, because I always liked Shamrock. He did some pretty technical stuff out there in the past.
Its a bit like Mike Tyson, who was supposed to have so many fights in the future to create revenue to pay all the millions he owes in taxes. What happens? He goes out and loses the first damn fight. badly. That ends that.

Same thing with Shamrock. He will never be in a main event fight again, as far as the UfC is concerned.

And the shit with him falling down? twice? that did not look good for him

Rich Franklin is a very talented, well rounded fighter, ive been watching him for awhile now, cant say im too suprised he beat Shamrock. I wish hed stay at 205 just to kick Titos ass!!

Diego kicked ass, Forrest and Bonnar both had amazing heart and drive, something was wrong with Shamrock... hmm- I wanted his fight to at least go the distance. :worried:

franklin is stil in ortiz's weightclass,he was 202 I believe last night and the cut off is 205 so its a matter of time, in my opinion that fight was a publicity stunt,they used shamrocks name to draw the crowd,but by doing show,shed the light on a very promising up and comer who IMO will be fighting for a belt in the next year or so

the funniest was he kept rambling on like a fucking baby saying gibberish over and over about "god" (in a baby voice) and jesus showing him the way, and kep tthanking everyone, and the announcer guy kept butting in trying to shut him up. and he KEPT on going haha it was hilarious.

and when he won he had to run and jump and straddle the octogon fence like his dream, only to not shut up somore.

Franklin moved up to fight Shamrock for publicity purposes only. He's on his way back down to 185, and Tanner is the only person who stands in his way in the middleweight division......and that fight will happen this summer.

As for Bonnar dominating the first fight...???..??? WTF???

Forrest had that fight from the first round, he physically overpowered Steffan the entire fight.........so what.. he's a bleeder....big fucking deal....a little more scar tissue and that won't be a problem. Both of those impressed the hell out of me.....as for them both getting the $100,000 contracts....it does wonders for the image of the UFC, other than that....I think it's wrong.

It makes me happy that UFC and Pride are getting so much mainstream attention these days. :)
