It fails to talk about Huffington's means of transportation. She rides exclusively in limos and private jets to wherever she goes. Also, the other leader in this special interest group traded in her Lincoln Navigator for a Toyota car.

Just how serious is this group!?!

I don't think it's about Americans buying gas per se. I think it's about Americans having infinitely more than they need. Don't know that I'd go as far as saying that it directly supports terrorism. However it does contribute to how the world views us.

Honesly, how many of us really need an SUV? Gimme a break. I'd like to see a study done that answers questions like:

When was the last time you put that thing in 4wd?
How many days out of the year do you drive that thing to work alone?

We are Americans. We are glutons. Right or wrong, we should at least admit it.

I couldn't have said it better... We are Pigs and I am just as guilty as everyone else that has WAYYYY more than they need or to make themselves comfortable. I worked hard to get a good salary so I feel I deserve a nice comfortable vehicle and house to live in. But do I need a 5.x liter V8 Hemi Magnum turbo diesel with seating for 7 to drive back and forth to work? NO
