strong deadlifting 3 weeks out, he's the first bodybuilder I ever heard saying how good deadlifts are and how you should always go heavy on then (5 reps or less)
Smyrna is pretty ghetto now, but that's a nice gym. Couple of big ol gals train in there. It's one of those rare places where you still have a nice mix of really hardcore MF'ers and regular folks who want to get fit, but everyone's cool with each other.
If he's trained there for a long time I guess we must've been in there at the same time b/c I always used to train about 5-6pm too.
