Good lord snipers hope your wrists ok girl has this happened before? I used to have loads problems with weak wrists so I bought gloves with great wrist supports they seem to have fixed it, great workout chic !So today was shoulder day... Didn't feel too great going in... My whole body was sore... Started out with Standing behind the neck ohp, and almost broke my wrist on 135 lol... Got it up for 5, but it took two tries...
From that point my wrist hurt so bad I had to wrap it just to continue...
125lbs for 5 on bb upright rows
35lbs for 5 on db lat raises
90lbs for 5 on cable face pulls
Now I'm in bed hoping my wrist stops hurting lol
After 4 Advil, 2 wrist wraps, and a tiger balm back patch, I made it to the gym... I wrapped them tight, and said a little prayer...
90lbs for 3 on ez curl bi curls
55lbs for 5 on ez curl reverse curl (I thought for a moment that I had broken my wrist lol)
35lb db hammer curls for 5
90lbs for 5 on cable curls
4 sets of resistance band curls to finish it off
Started my vibram break in schedule today too... 7 sets of 2 min run 2 min walk...
Came home and made homemade red velvet cupcakes with homemade cream cheese icing!!! Feelin a little sad... The hubby got to his new base in Astan and found that there was no Internet in his roomhopefully it's fixable, cuz 180 days without seeing his handsome face could kill me

Thanks D! My wrist actually feels a lot better... But those hypers took a toll on my back... I went in to do legs this afternoon, and pulled something and could barely walk! Go figure! Hubby's been gone too long... I'm fallin apart!

155 for 10 on kneeling squats... Could have really piled the weight on, but my back wouldn't allow me to lift it off the rack for my hip flexors and glutes to take it from there lol

I skipped calves and crawled to my truck lol my calves are still shot from the barefoot running! I'm guna start eating clean tomorrow and try to make a crazy transformation by June when my hunny comes back! Wish me luck!!

Hey ladies! My thanksgiving was fine. I slept all day! Well almost all day. I did get up to run in my new shoes lol. How was yours?!? He officially has no net in his room so I haven't seen him since ThursdayI miss him so much it really stinks...

I did my monthly(ish) cheat workout tonight...
155 for 3 on flat bench
145 for 2 on incline
95 each side iso hammer strength seated press for 2 (and now my daughter owes me $2 cuz she didn't believe I could lift it and bet me a dollar a rep... I should have pressed a few more out lol)
135 for 5 on pec dec15 measly push ups lol
Then took the kids to the Christmas light show and stood outside in the 35degree rain for them to get a pic with Santa! They owe me big!!!

Besides being behind the head, what is the difference between behind the head OHP and just OHP? Just curious if they work different muscles.

In my case, the front of my shoulders are pretty well developed from other push exercises like bench, etc. Taking the ohp behind the head engages the rear delt and traps . They both work the major shoulder muscles tho...

Snipes do you know a way of working those same muscle groups(rear delt and traps) without doing ohp behind the head? My shoulder is so tight it won't allow that movement.
I find that the upright rows do a really great job as well.

Thanks everyone! I have some degenerative and bulging or slipping something or others lol. I was supposed to have spinal fusion surgery a time or ten but refuse! I am too young and too healthy to even think about back surgery! I put my mind to it and learned to deal with the pain... But when I can't move, I can't move lol.
I may attempt a workout tomorrow, but promised the hunny that I would let myself heal... I'd run a marathon with a broken leg if I didn't have him to talk some sense into me![]()
Please let yourself heal before attempting to workout! Remember that promise to your hunny!!. You've got great motivation and determination. Just don't let it get your hurt!! I'm probably breaking some kind of etiquette rules by asking, so excuse me for doing so, how old are you? Just tell me to shut up! I'm33 and I wouldn't want to have back surgery at my age! No way!! Keep up the great work just don't get injured!!
lol I'm 31 (will be 32 on Saturday)... I have a hard time listening to my body, and always end up hurt... I was running 2 a days a couple of years ago with a pretty severe stress fracture.. I was just limping the whole time and it never occurred to me to stop... until i was ordered to! lol
I am REALLY avoiding surgery at ALL costs! This whole lifting thing is hard for me to regulate... I spent my teens and early 20s as a model, so I wasn't allowed to have muscles lol i was only allowed to have skin and bones... now that I can do what I want with my body, I am a little obsessed and have a very hard time turning it off... even when it hurts...
My biggest fear is that I will see all the things I actually have time to do when I skip the gym, and never want to go back lol.. my hunny is FAR too hot for me to be anywhere but at the very top of my game![]()

We had one here too. It was great! Kids everywhere! Pancakes everywhere, kids were making faces with them lol. Gym was covered. It was worth the clean up though since the kids had so much fun!

Ok so I finally made it to the gym after being off since I hurt myself Thursday lol. Still in a lot of pain, but I can walk so life is good
Did a light chest workout... Nothing impressive... 145 on flat bench, 180 (total) on iso hs press, 150ish on pec deck...
But I am happy to report I did 4 underhand pull ups and 3 overhand lol I'd still rather do flex arm hang for a couple min
I was going nuts hearing about all the pull ups lol! Man if I ever hurt myself so bad I can't go to the gym anymore, I am living vicariously through the rest of you!!
And btw, do I get a handicap since I have like three ft of legs to pull up?!?!? Lol
