not to get off topic but i agree with hilters invasion of russia in 1941 (summer)

1. needed resources
2. taking over crete/greece did longer then they thought but still victories
3. winter of 1941 was one of the worst winters off all time(bad luck) got screwed
4. the war going well eveyhwere else (from the north atlantic to North Africa)
5. russia was unprepared and also there mass of troops werent on the boader but ways back far after germany and russia split poland in 1939(easy first gains)
6. mobilzied army in the world (dont even compare to napolean since he had horses compared to hitlers panzers) but the t34> early panzer models 1-3
7. russia got beat up in finland in 1939-1940 winter time and gave off the idea they were weak and would break

It's common to label Hitler crazy for attacking Russia
but damn before I comment that was his whole goal to begin with

the russians performed miserably in WWI
the russians performed miserably against little Finland in the "winter war" of 40
Hitler's armies had already enjoyed great success against better equiped and trained opponents(france and britian in 40)
it was THE endeavor

and ultimately the german "gutting" of the USSR preserved democracy for the remainder of western europe
who did we fight a 50 year cold war with?

I think they could too. Most Americans are ignorant and think we are better at war etc. etc.

While I resent the statement of ignorance. It is ignorant to believe That China would walk over the USA. Their leaders may be more willing to use nukes than ours however, we have the most complete, fierce and best equipped fighting force the world has ever seen.
Our war plan and execution of policy, along with a willingness to use all means necessary would be the determining factors. The US public, at least the vocal minority could not handle the losses a war with China would bring.
Nukes, we have far more. China is not foolish enough to use them against the USA no matter their leader's mindset.
China would have to be the leader of a worldwide coalition to defeat the US.
This fight, however, is inevitable whether it be nuclear or political.

My big concern with a war with China would be if they stopped shipping their goods to Walmart,

1st thing all you guys are forgetting is US is not going to invade unless the UN is going to back them up. I don't think the US is ready for another iraq mistake finacially wise and politically.
Once the UN is in then its a unstoppable force.
China can do nothing but cry and wimper and throw threats down about nukes. I would kill the gook leaders now if i had the chance.
All i know is this should be taken care of now before China does become a super power!

There's a 24 hr Super Walmart in East Orlando near Bithlo where all the trailer folks live, and my Daughter calls it the "Hillbilly Walmart"...
