can a person get a blood test for myostatin? While i am sure that 10 weeks is a good rule of thumb, its often stated on this site that people are all different and therefore respond differently to different compounds, and recover at different rates. Would this not also apply to myostatin? I'm curious as to whether there is some empirical way to determine if myostatin levels are sufficiently reduced so as to restart.

Thats not a stupid question at all. I'm sure it does vary from person to person to some degree. For exsmple, I know Ledhead has speculated that a lot of the pros possibly have a genetic mutation which prevents myostatin from becoming a hinderance to gains like the majority of us. I see no reason that people couldn't have varying degrees of that.
As for a myostatin test, I dont know the answer to that
