To all my friends. I have been real sick for the past week with strep throat.

WOW that shit really really sucks. My god I forgot how bad strep is.... First your throat is on fire all day, glands swell up like bass balls and every bone in your body is still and hurts like hell.

Of course I tried to just sleep it off the first few days but it was clear that shit was just getting worse and worse so I went to the doctor and got some meds. Feeling a bit better today and just now finaly getting back to work. So If I have missed a lot of pm's, emails, and or phone calls from all of you . I am sorry about all that bro's but will try and get on top of things.

Sorry to hear it bro, strep is PAINFUL. Yeah, sleep as much as possible.

I feel you bro!! I've had strep for the past week as well!!! Sucks BIG TIME!!! I've NEVER had strep in my life.

They are saying that it is a very bad strain of strepp this year. I had is so bad once it looked like someone took white-out and painted the back of my throat with it. Used vikatin for pain and is did not respond to the normal anti-boitics. I feel for you, man.
 
Never had it ,but i've seen people come into the hospital with it ,they didn't look good at all ,Take care of yourself I've been running the forums pretty smoothly ,already banned about 150 people this week!:elephant::jump::jump::elephant:

Sounds like a shitty week for everyone. I have had a sore throat for 3 weeks now. Luckily I have not had strep though. My wife on the other hand, received strep on Monday. It has been a rough few weeks. SOrry bro, and I hope your feeling better.

ya looks like winter is trying to spread the last of its love to us before it goes. Fuck this damn winter!!!!!!!!!!! Worst damn winter ever if you ask me. I got sick like 5 times, it snowed like a mother fucker, and it was cold as shit. Now its refusing to go the hell away!!!
 
Sorry to hear dude, i never had strep but i looked it up (i live in the caribbean so we dont get that infection here) looks painful as shit. Hope you get better bruv. Bless.

Fuck bro, that is the same with me. I've been sick more this winter than I have in many many years combined. It's been cold since beginning fall.
 
i didnt read this whole thread but antibiotics will knock strep out fairly quickly, it as bacterial infection. it is very painful before you start treatment. you gotta see a doctor and get a presciption.

you dont want to mess with strep and not treat it. it can lead to scarlet fever. jim henson, the muppets guy, died of scarlet fever. he didnt treat his initial symptoms of strep throat. hope youre feeling better!

I think that is what I was starting to get... this strain of strep that I got was very aggressive and progressed very quickly. I went from my glands being a bit swollen one night to bass balls the next. Sweating my brains out to the point you could touch the bed and water would squirt out . I was changing my shirts and pants 3-4 times through out the day because they were drenched in sweat. That is how bad I was sweating and how high me temp was..

One night I had slightly swollen glands and the next day my throat was one fire and I could not even swallow my own spit I had to spit it into a cup... At some points my vision was blured and I gould not focus on things. Every bone hurt and my neck was so stiff I could not even turn my head left ot right without pain..

But within hours of taking some meds it started to go away.. I tell you it was a bas strain and it progressed very quickly.. I bet it would have been scarlet fevor by the end of the week had I choice not to go to the doctors. I hate doctors but even they have a use everyone once in a wile..
 
Hope you feel better Needto. I just got over the bronchitis, but I still have the cough and mucas in my throat. Sucks, but the Phillies are 4 and 0 so it isn't that bad. Looks like we could see the Red Sox in the series. Not worried though, bunch of wicked bums up in Boston. Hahaha Just kidding, but seriously feel better.

you may have had a fever, which is typical with bacterial infections. not scarlet fever though...which is way more serious. FYI>
