i have had a tingling sensation in my left arm for about 2-weeks now it goes numb when i lift with a tingle running up the arm!!! i thought it might have been the hgh but last night when i was doing flat bench with dumbells my arm was falling asleep. I wake up every 2-3/hours with my arm asleep when i get up or sit up in the bed it will go away for a while but i have noticed it goes numb through the day or when i squeeze something to tight. i did not take my dose of hgh yesterday and last night to see if this was the contribute to the problem because i know these are some of the symptons of growth!!!! what gives!!! think i may have hit the weights to hard i have moved up in weights on the flat dumbell bech press currently doing 120-pds with warm up sets starting at 60-pds and work my way up and then i come back down. i bench press before i go to the dumbells and always warm up before sets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any help before i go to the doc on thursday!! i am not on at this time and been off since july Ran a good pct and had a little gyno and finally have rid that problem. always something!!! any help my brothers!! i do not want to lose any gains and not be able to lift/ this is my life and i would be deppressed as hell if i cant lift!!! i live for this sorry for the long raving and such a long post. thanks in advance.

hey bro, it sounds alot like you are starting to get Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I've had CTS in both hands/arms, and mine always tingled if I picked anything up and bent my wrist the wrong way. Its caused from the median nerve being pinched that runs from your finger tip all the way up your arm. After 6 Months mine has finally started to go away. It still tingles every once in a while but for the most part rest is only thing that will help it. Just take Advil/Ibuprofen 800mg 3x a day, and that will help relieve pressure off the nerves. gluck bro

yeh dude i think its carpel tunnel mysel I have numbing myself and its a mild case of cts do you have a history of it in your family

or a pinched nerve in your back/neck. I have had that issue before and a visit to the chiro took care of it. But CTS is also a possibility.

It's thoracic outlet symdrome (TOC). I had it before where my arma nd fingers were going numb. I lost some strength on that arm. I had a CTS done on it and it came out to have an pinched nerve not allowing the signals to travel. I had to lay off of all overhead presses and benching but there are other ways of training. Take my advice, you'll be fine...Here is some info for you ..

What is Thoracic Outlet Syndrome?
Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) consists of a group of distinct disorders that affect the nerves in the brachial plexus (nerves that pass into the arms from the neck) and various nerves and blood vessels between the base of the neck and axilla (armpit). For the most part, these disorders have very little in common except the site of occurrence. The disorders are complex, somewhat confusing, and poorly defined, each with various signs and symptoms of the upper limb.

I get something like that too. Find that if I over it, sometimes get what I can only describe as a sensitive nerve being plucked like a guitar string. Goes the full length of the arm. Doesn't bother me much and rarely happens. Also get numbness in my little finger sometimes also. This happens during the day. Keep thinking its poor circulation. Not connected the two until now.

Is this a mild case of TOS also ?
