This is insane

Wow. Great stuff.

I hope he's not being abused, given "stuff" by his parents.

I'm not so sure he should be lifting weights at that age.

NUTS!!!!! He is probably one of the lucky few with a mutated myostatin gene.

holy shit that is unbelievable. We are probably looking at the best gymnast the world will ever see if this kid decides he wants to be one.

Most likely the case...

Instead of momma wanting her baby in the beauty pageant- daddy wanted his baby to be a powerhouse!

i just saw a documentary on a kid who has limited myostatin production, it really is a fascinating area of science. the kid tested 40% stronger than his age group.

found the whole programme on youtube, lucky you!

i wonder when needto will start carrying myostatin inhibitors ;)

and what is a mutated myostatin gene?

myostatin is a growth factor protein that limits muscle tissue growth.

belgian blue bulls are famous for this.

"The Belgian Blue has a natural mutation of the gene that codes for myostatin, a protein that counteracts muscle growth. The truncated myostatin is unable to function in this capacity, resulting in accelerated lean muscle growth, due primarily to hyperplasia rather than hypertrophy. The defect in the breed's myostatin gene is maintained through linebreeding. This mutation also interferes with fat deposition, resulting in very lean muscle."
