The Truth About Harvard

Great, thanks for asking. I've been posting more because I'm starting a new project next week. I'll probably be back to posting once a week or less once it starts.

How are you woot?

I'm good man, work could be a little busier as I am having another child...very excited to be having a girl (until she is 14) lol

Congtratz again, guard her like a hawk and teach her how she deserves to be treated...I'm sure she's already your princess. :)

The dirty little secret is that healthcare inflation isn't nearly as bad as higher education cost inflation; The last stats I saw were 6% for healthcare and 8% for higher education; Real inflation as calculated by teh Federal Reserve is less than 2% per year consistently.

did you know that the "real inflation" calculation excludes food and fuel???

High level traffickers pay off government officials just like Harvard grads that work on Wall Street pay off government officials.

anyone that thinks there isn't a "substantial" amount of truth to the above statement isn't paying attention this dimension of reality they have chosen to habitate for 80 or so years.

when you strip off the wax job the behaviors in question used in the above comparison are "exactly" the same...just one group gets away with it by calling it this "capitalism" business.

Indeed, I do, the emphasis on electronics also skews it down because they drop exponentionally in price because it's a relatively free market when compared to primary production that has artificially high costs that contribute to inflation because they pass on government regulatory costs.

the problem is, food and fuel are the two things that everyone uses and they are also the two things that have increased the most (on a percentage basis), yet they are excluded from the inflation calculation...

Of course, the government looks better when they choose the metrics; Don't let anyone fool you by claiming the Fed doesn't play politics.

The BLS also exclude people that have dropped out of the labor market and underemployed in the unemployment calculations when they report unemployment, you have to go to BLS and look at the data to get the real number. The government also piles FICA taxes into the general revenue which created an illusion of a Clinton surplus. If I ran a business using government accounting methods I would be in prison. Hell, If Bernie had gone to the trouble of getting a religious designation for his business he would still be a free and wealthy man.
