I know I posted this in another thread, but I felt it was important for everyone to read, especially the newcomers.
Here is what you guys need to realize and understand, we are talking about the internet here. You do not know who someone truly is behind their PC. I understand what satch is saying about talking the talk and walking the walk in the other thread, but even posting pics to back yourself up, like bigdogmike (or whatever the hell his name is) showed us, you dont know whos pictures they are actually posting, so that is actually pointless. Everyone that signs on to the internet and reads these threads and is looking for advice, the bottom line is, YOU DONT KNOW WHO IS GIVING YOU THE ADVICE! No matter what they say their credentials are or what pictures they fucking post, period. I personally only give advice on AS that I know I am at least 99% sure is accurate, and I usually only give AS advice that I know first hand. I do study anabolics to an extent, but not enough to consider myself an expert, therefore I try not to give any advice that I believe is questionable. Now, when it comes to diet, I am actually studying Nutrition and am currently finishing out my BA to become a registered dietician, so I try to lend as much advice in the nutrition area as I can. But, if someone was to ask me to back up what I am stating, all I can say is trust me, besides that there is nothing I can prove that what I am stating is accurate, understand? You can see my avatar and say to yourself that TheMachine01 knows what hes talking about with diet, but guess what, I love studying nutrition and even if I didnt train and my avatar didnt look anything like that, i would still be giving the same advice and it would still have the same credibility. The only thing you can do to back up a statement you make is to back it up with documented accurate studies or referrances.
There are certain indivisuals on the boards that do truly know their shit, and there are those that are very good 'copy and pasters' that try and make themselves look good, and then there are those that are just full of shit. I like to be able to sign onto Elite and see quality posts with quality advice, not bullshit. There are certain bros on here that I look to for advice and have a good amount of respect for, those are the bros that give educational and factual information, or first hand advice. Once you spend time on here you will begin to know those I am talking of. And PLEASE, do not give anyone advice that you are not 100% sure of, remember that what you say can have an affect on someones life.
