People are telling him it's his diet, oh but he works and goes to school (like he's any busier than anyone else) so he doesn't have time to eat all the time. That takes planning after all. BUT...he wants to get big more than anything. :rolleyes:

Now he wants to run another cycle, and people are blindly offering up advice instead of telling him to just eat big and train hard.

Dude is 5'11" and 155. His target weight is a measly 180! Shit, I was about as skinny as they come, and I am 6'2". I was 160 when I started working out again after not touching a weight for almost 10 years (I got up to 185 in college with a 29" waist). I got up to 180-190 pretty quickly and had to push it harder to gain after that.

Not only am I a hard gainer, I have hyperthyroidism to boot (look it up if you don't know). Basically, my thyroid is on overdrive. I put out T3 like a factory. Probably 2-3 times as much as normal. With that, I have to work 2-3 times as hard to put on weight as someone without this. My metabolism was like a race car on nitrous! I am on meds now to control this and my T3 production is now in normal range.

Before meds, I got to where I could hold on to about 195-200 while eating about 8000 cals./day. Now, I am sitting at 220 after being on meds for almost 4 years. I got stuck at 210 for over a year - dammit!

My point is this kid is fucking 18 with natural test at levels probably as high or higher than what he is exogenously sticking in his body. He needs to save the cycles for when he is 25 or 30 and can no longer gain naturally due to hitting his genetic limit...unless he has some medical condition he has not revealed.

But with a "target of 180 lbs." he should never need to touch a steroid in his life!!!!!! What a waste.
 
Whoa! I never said he should be using at 18 man I just see people jump all over people sometimes because 1 guy misreads a post and then everyone hops on the bandwagon thats all. I was seeing it happen again here so I posted up. I agree with all the other stuff you are saying.

DC is NOT for beginners! This kid says he's lifted off and on (doesn't say how long), and he's only 18 (meaning probably not that long). Go with something like the 5x5 before you think about trying DC. You need to know your body well and how it reacts. Not to mention DC is ideally for those who have pretty much maxed out gains on other programs first.

Forget about DC for now LifttoLive.

I'm reading a lot of things here i don agree with. This is my advice, take it or leave it.

Don't worry about your next cycle until you put on at "least" 30 more pounds naturally. This might take you 3-4 years. By that time your body "might" be ready for your second cycle. You're going to wear out your receptors if you start juicing this early not knowing what you're doing. Then when your 25 you won't be seeing results like you should becuase you will have cycled up to a point that you could of gotten to naturally.

Do you really know what the other kids in High School were taking??? Do you have the names of the gear or were they just talking out their ass?

Also, being sore isn't a good indicator of a good workout. I worked out my quads yesterday and they feel fine today. Does that mean I should work them out again? NO!

There are a lot of routines out there. Find one, stick to it, eat everything in site. Bein patient and make sure you can dedicate yourself to working out for a while.

From 18-22 I was able to put on about 30 lbs naturally and I am lifting naturally today.

Do you have any goals?

Lift-- You need to get yourself to a fucking DOCTOR asap and have them do a blood test, THEN get your shit back together before you fuck your system for the rest of your life... With proper diet you'll add more weight And KEEP more weight than you every will with a bunch of DBALL only cycles. Plus you've obviously already hurt your tendons/joints from lack of training prior to adding AAS. YOU HAVE TO BUILD THE BASE FIRST! You would think you would have figured that out from your supposed "research"

I don't want to get into all the shit talking above but heres whats up. Anyone who is young and reads this post thinking about using gear for the first time, read what is in bold. He is absolutely right. If you do not workout for a couple years to get the base of your body strong ie. the joints, the tendons, ligaments, and cartalidge, your going to "get big" then tear your body down piece by piece because it cant support itself. Please let this thread die because this is what gives gear a bad name.
 
Lifttolive, you have posted a few times here an there in the AAS forum. Bro, unless you have some weird endocrine problem that no one knows about, there is no reason for you to use steroids because you should have enough of that wonder stuff us old farts call testosterone floating in your system to sink a battleship. However, at 18, you need money to buy food. I do not know who is supporting you (you or your parents), nor do I know how understanding they would be of your grocery bill if your parents are supporting you. You should be able to gain incredibly well at your age so long as you work out and eat right.

Man, I dont get it. I workout so hard and am in so much pain that I simply cannot hit that muscle again for atleast 5 days. Add a day of rest and now I am on a 6 day routine. 5 days on, one day off

The thing that kills me the most - until cars, planes, and other shit, do you think that people said to eachother "hey man, I dont think I am going to hunt today for our food, my calves are really sore from chasing that buffalo yesterday".

shit no! they went out, did it, and dammit, those older bastards had naturally awesome bodies. (other than fred flintstone that is)

get out there and work your ass off. your body will do amazing things when pushed.
