Nature boy, I fully intended to get you hot under the collar. For too long I have sat back and watched people who would not stand on one side or the other. Lack of emotionalism is as dangerous as being over zealous in patriotism.

So to that end, I am glad I struck a nerve.

I am still damn proud to be an American, and if this country is going downhill it's because people in my generation are a bunch of whiny, spoiled, spineless wusses who aren't willing to take a stand for anything. I was born in 1981 so you know what age group I am talking about here. Those attacks on 9/11/01 have inspired me to try to go into the military/CIA/FBI after college.

Since when do we care what the Chinese military thinks/does? Ever heard of Tianamen Square?

In this day and age the US clears what it does internationally because we need international support. We need other countries on our side. We don't need an "US vs. the world" mentality. THAT would lead to our downfall.
