The best way to kickstart your HTPA

Im sure there are many people who have in the pasted incorrectly abused steroids and their bodys and have permanently lowered their natural levels of test. I hope this could be a thread to help people get their HTPA back on track even months or years after their experiences.

I hope we can get some good input on what is the best way to try to get your natural test back on track.

I shut myself down a few years back, and am about to try and fix myself. Im going to go with HCG Nolva and possibly some other suppliments. I am also interested in the natural and legal roducts that are so highly advocated on here. My only concern is that they are getting the good publicity only because they are sponsors for the boards.

I am also considering doing a light cycle pre and durring the rebound, just to get my body back into peak form, just so that it remembers how full normal test levels should feel. I was thinking 6-8 weeks of Test Prop and maybe some Primo. If i ever get myself back to how I used to be, Im not going to do another cycle again and risk my health for the long term.

Hopefully we can put together a full and complete system for rebounding your natural levels. Maybe this can become a sticky, cuz I know im not the only person out there. HRT and not being able to have kids, doesnt sound like fun. It would be nice to have another option.
 
AAAHH you can forget another cycle if you are trying to get back natural test man. After being shut down for so long and trying to bring it back. A cycle should be the last thing on your mind.

Now What was your last cycle and how long ago was it? How long were you on? have you had any test done? If so results please.
 
Get yourself checkout and see exactly what it is that is out of whack hormonally and what ever you do, don't ever mess with roids again. You've done enough to harm yourself and at this point you would be diggin yourself into a deep hole. In no way will steroids ever signal your body to restart itself because steroids are inherently suppressive.
 
Man, I have been to at least 5 endocrinologist and they have all told me the same fuking shit. The only stuff that i abused besides anadrol (animal stack from back in the day) was anavar. I used it on an extremly unhealthy diet, consisting of nothing but protien. I thought i knew alot about nutrition and wanted to get big and lean. All i really did was mess myself up. I was gaining alot of size using anavar with creatine, untill i got sick. after that, i never felt the same. Got really depressed for a while, used some clomid to try and feel better. Developed some very minute gyno(no hard mass, just stored fat under nipples and tenderness) No sex drive for over a year, and it is still weak. that was about 6 years ago and im 26 now.

my levels have slowly climbed, I floated around 270-310 test levels for a few years. Every doctor told me It was all normal. Within ranges. They are fuking idiots. within a range of 230-900. I cant even remember exaclty. I still have all of my lab work, and blood tests from the last 5 years. I read alot about it online, and believe they dont know what they are talking about. Im always on the very bottom of the range.

The only reason that I want to do a cycle before I try to recover is because I think the lack of test has kept me from fully maturing. I fuked myself up at an early age 19-20. I want to take Something that is going to get me to where i am supposed to be. I dont care about size any more. I am just very concered about my body and general health. I think some exogenous test is just something my body needs to feel good again.

ZMA is the only thing that makes me feel better. I have even had my test level up over 500 while on it, and my balls grow. But my body adapts to it quickly, and my test will drop back down after a few weeks, and drop even lower after I stop taking it. I have verified this with blood tests, and nut measurments lol.

I really would like the help of a doctor, but after going to 5 morons that have told me the exact same thing, I have to take matters into my own hands. Hopefully someone insightful will be able to help me out. I am ready to try anything. If it doesnt work, I will most likely be going on HRT.

What do you guys think of proviron or androxon?
 
Oddly enough, the literature I have that came with my pharm grade Proviron stipulates that it can be used for testicular atrophy (75mgs ED divided into 3 doses for 3 months!!!) which I find odd because Proviron is still an exogenous hormone and as well all know, exogenous hormones will shut you down and when you are shut down, your boys shrink. Have you tried Alpha Sustain? I am not in your position so our situations are not the same but for me, especially when on cycle and the sex drive is starting to go down or at the end of a cycle when the hormones are all out of wack, it really does help. I know a few other guys on the board have tried it and it's helped. After a 12 weeks cycle I did last year (which I will never do again) even after PCT I didn't feel quite right. Then I found out about Sustain and in no time I had the desire to have sex again and after a short while my testes had grown as well.
Anyway, that's something you might want to look into.
 
I'm a little confused as to how a high protein diet with creatine and Anavar messed you up? That makes no sense. I think you have some other issues unrelated to roids.

Are you sure your test levels are even low or do you just assume they are?

If you have been checked and know thats the prob than just run a standard PCT like anyone else with low test. And if that doesn't work then look into HRT.
 
I was doing this while eating a diet of zero carbs and zero fat for 6 months. Or as close to zero as possible. They cycle was jsut the icing on the cake. I was pretty much anorexic. Ate only about 1500 calories a day, and worked out 2-3 hours a day every day. That will fuk you up. No cheat days and not even a single cheat meal. I think the fact of the low fat and carbs fuked me up as much if not more then the juice. But the juice was the straw that broke the camels back.

Basically I would eat 300-400 grams of protien, with nothing else. Whatever fat or carbs was unavoidable. I would estimate less then 15 grams of fat a day, and less than 50 grams of carbs a day.
