Tennant left without paying rent

Anyone know what can be done to get the money from a tennat who moved out without paying? She is still in my state and I have all her info.

Well what happened is my brother is an idiot. He's the one in charge but he didn't listen when I told him to kick her out sooner. He was supposed to go to the house yesterday and sort it out, he didn't and today she's gone. I told him to kick her out 1 month ago before she takes her god damn vacation and he's like I'll give her time till she gets back.

uh, thats bad. My father-in-law has appartments and he dont take no SSN or anything. When tennants dont pay, he is at the door knocking almost every other day. Or he kicks them out before they owe him too much money.

I went with him the day I told him to kick her ass out. He was meeting her at some bar, there was no parking so I ended up staying in the car. He comes back " yea she said she's gona go work for a while and come back next month to take her stuff and pay the bill". We're both early and mid 20s so we're just getting started. if you dont have her SSN, you cant even go to court to get her wages garnished or to report her at credit companies. Next time, you'll know

Call them up or send them a note saying that they owe you money. If they did not send any payment within 30 days then you will have no choice but to sue their ass.
