stretch marks and tattoos

I have been wanting to get a tattoo on my arm for some time now, but I am worried that it will distort as I grow. I already have small stretch marks on my biceps and shoulders. If I get a tat there, will it be ruined as my skin stretches?

A fine line tat will survive just fine! The only problem is when you do get a lot bigger.... you will see some line breaks in your outline----- . . . .

If they use a "fat 3" needle to do the outline... it will spread
I don't care for these needles myself....

I have had no distortion of my tats. Stretch marks, yes but the lines are still good. I was worried about this as well. No probs so far.

basskiller is right..it will spread a little. Try not to use any green colors either. If you ever want to remove it later on in life...green is near impossible to get rid of.

I put close to a 1 1/2 on my arms (in a short period of time)and I'm full of tats... with no distortion at all.... just a couple line breaks... which is easily fixed!

My arms have gone from 15 to 19 inches with my tats since I started them. No probs here.
