stomach problems

well i just took some zantac 150 and at first it didnt do shit, but i ate some more just now and now i dont feel as bad, i was doing pull ups tho and now my left side of my back hurts.

like mava said i was thinkin mayb it was a liver prob but my eyes and shit look fine my poop looks like a light brown today. Pee is fine. I am usually tired alot, but maybe thats just from the dbols and my insomnia lol.
Just try the Zantac and OTC Prilosec like I recommended. Continue that for a month even if you are feeling better. No caffeine, alcohol, or stimulants of any kind.

You are getting a lot of random advice on here. From experience I can tell you that you most likely have gastritis from your binge drinking. This is something we see often. You aren't "allergic" to alcohol, and it's unlikely you have Helicobactr pylori infection causing an ulcer. Gastritis is a known complication from drinking too much alcohol. It's the price we pay in our merry ways of partying.

Hepatitis usually is painless unless caused by an acute virus (e.g., hep A) or in end failure. Chances are you probably have a transaminitis just taking the AAS. If you're concerned about liver toxicity, you can purchase some N-acetylcysteine at GNC. It's the same stuff we give to patients for acetaminophen overdoses, except we give it in IV form. The oral liquid tastes like crap, but the supplements are capsules if I believe correctly. Most liver toxicity results from depletion of glutathione, which "detoxifies" the liver by cleaning up free radicals. NAC will substitute for its function.

If in doubt, go see a physician and have your LFT's checked. In fact, I would recommend anyone on AAS see a physician for LFT's and lipid profiles on a regular basis. AAS can seriously mess with your cholesterol.

Let us know how everything turns out.

I tried OTC prilosec and that worsened the pain x10. Went to doc and was prescribed nexium and immediately pain was gone.

My suggestion, go see a gastroenterologist.

Some people do tolerate different PPI's better than others. However, Prilosec is the only one available without a prescription right now.

I'm an ENT resident and although I deal more with surgical issues relating to the head and neck, I've done rotations in the ER and have extensive medical knowledge from medical school.

With that said, swatdoc's advice is GOLD.
