SRCS raided by DEA

San Rafael Chemical Services - SRCS raided by DEA

got this from another website....

To whom it may concern,
We apologize for having to inform any who care to know of this particular occurance however, because we strive to operate with honesty, integrity and without discrimination, we have encountered scenarios in which we have not made friends.
Some one or some organization has informed the DEA that SRCS was performing illegal anabolic steroid analysis. We have always maintained and kept current our DEA license for controlled substances and were under the apparent misaprehention that the analyses we have been performing were totally legitamate, well within the scope of the law and a service to the supplement industry. Whether or not the warrant that was served on SRCS was granted under false pretenses, we were raided on October 25th, 2007 by agents from several agencies including DEA, State Commerce Comission, and local law enforcement who over the course of the day cloned our computer hard drives, confiscated most all of our retained samples as well as our analytical and financial records for the previous five or more years. Any and all documentation and records we had pertaining to samples received, email and personal financial information, client lists and standards lists were confiscated and will be reveiwed extensively by whomever the DEA deems worthy. We voluntarilly surrendered our controlled substances license and will no longer be capable of providing analysis for the aforementioned substances.
Because of the total confiscation of all our documentation, the production of timely requests of analyses in progress will be affected negatively. We will do all we can to get back up to speed and mimimize to the best of our ability any interruptions in service for "non-regulated" substances as soon as we can.

We apologize deeply for any inconvenience and negative impact this will have.

Sincerely,

San Rafael Chemical Services, Inc.

I smell bullshit. SRCS's website doesn't post this article, and it certainly doesn't sound professional. The grammar sucks, and it's full of spelling errors:

occurance
misaprehention
legitamate
voluntarilly

Some fucktard with too much time, that's what this sounds like.

Maybe we should call them up on the phone. I mean, asking a question isn't illegal is it?

Let's use your phone.

"Hey man, you test my shit yet? Whatta ya think? Should I order more? Can you send me back the rest?"

If its true, they probably got names and addresses of everyone who sent AAS in to be tested also.

they're just trying to phase out the blackmarket so the big pharmaceutical companies can hawk HRT to us...........this is all it is. The government is not getting it's cut......so down it comes.

That was specified bro,

I know a few guys on OUR board who have been sending gear in for testing =/

Damn, I want a refund on that speed reading course
:)

I just gotta say I think thats completely bullshit. The government says the main reason they want to stop steroid black market is to protect the end user from injecting dangerous stuff in them. So then they raid a lab that is actually doing what they are supposed to do and testing substances for people to see if they are safe. I'm not for the whole underground drug ring due to scammers and shady people but I've done enough research and reports on steroids to know they aren't as bad as the other drugs out there........cocaine, crystal meth....the list goes on. I will get hormone therapy when I turn 30 or early if I can, its my decision and one that I fully stand by, but I won't do it illegally because I do care about my health. Now back to the subject on hand, the DEA is going after all this steroid stuff...........but whens the last time you heard of the big drugs like cocaine and crystal meth??? That shit actually is bad for you and can kill you and the DEA is focusing on trying to shut down steroids instead. I think its complete bullshit. If you really want to get rid of all this underground shit and the "bad guy drug dealers" make everything legal. Sweeden I believe almost everything is legal there and they have the lowest rate of drug use, you could just walk into a cvs/walgreens and buy your stuff and the government could tax it and then you know your safe and they get their almighty dollar. Busting a lab for doing research on stuff you send in...........come on now. All I gotta say if Fuck Jose Canseco, he started all this shit. I still have yet to see one government study showing steroids are bad for you, even though they are illegal. When taken properly they can increase your quality of life, same as cosmetic surgery.................and that ain't illegal. To everyone thats sent stuff in to them...........I would probably advise you move your shit! I don't believe they won't target the end user, the more you got tested the more your going to look like a dealer. Ever since Bush came into office our whole country has fallen apart, for the first time in my life.........I'm not really proud to be an American.

Do you honestly think they are concerned with the end user?

Most LE I have met treat people as if they are "worth points" and the more points they accumulate in their career the more substantial and worthwhile their life is. They view AAS users as garbage just like they view heroine addicts and drunk drivers. Just my observation of law makers and LE, im sure they arent all that way.

The messed up thing is I know a lot of LE's that are users, tons of em are crooked anyways but I wonder how many of the LE users I know would have gear get lost lol...............and wind up in their homes lol. I think I'm going to ask my buddy.

I guess that makes the hypocrites too then :). In their eyes they justify it by saying they need it to compete with and overcome felons.

R u guys really suprised,I mean some idiot just a few days ago made a post about their services,I mean how stupid can u b?

That post certainly didnt do any good but SRCS has been around and has been used by the AAS community for many many years. They are no secret so I dont think a couple recent posts are what got them raided.

Nice post bro.. K to ya.

srcs has been around forever, posted about on all the boards forever, they have sponsored boards with banners advertising their services, etc. they arent an underground secret.

the 1st line in their statement might be where this came from : " ....because we strive to operate with honesty, integrity and without discrimination, we have encountered scenarios in which we have not made friends....."

iow, srcs believes some lab/source that got bad results reported on their stuff started making noise. got "somebodys" attention and those "somebodys" realized they could identify more UG labs or sources by looking for repeat volume customers.

It seems to me that the people at the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration should have been pleased with the services of that SRCS company. I agree with the person who stated that this is only the beginning. What a sad day we live in. I guess some of the powers that be in the United States, and the rest of the world will be satisfied when we are all required to get prescriptions filled to take everything except water. I have heard of the "black market" steroid companies who sell possibly dangerous and counterfeit steroids, etc. To my knowledge there are plenty of places to get the real thing. My beef is this: A person should have the right to take any steroid, pro-horomone or supplement after they have been educated about the possible risks or side effects of taking body building drugs or supplements of any type, especially when such substances are purchased from "reputable" distributors. After all whose body is it anyway? I for one want the sexiest body I can sculpt yesterday.

I have heard of steroid abuse. But I don't think the whole world should be punished because a few abusers over dose or suffers some irrepairable damage. I won't name the books for fear of them being banned or possibly confiscated from me. But the author of the books I'm talking about gives detailed instructions on how to safely cycle steroids and prohoromones, how to keep your gains after the cycles are over, and how to supplement when coming off those steroid/prohoromone cycles for those who take that route in body building. In closing I don't think the steroid/prohoromone/supplement witch hunts have anything to do with concern for consumer safety. I think the problem is that there are entities out here who want to totally monopolize the drug industry, and rack up all the money they can from everything considered a drug (legal or illegal). In reality, these people won't be solving a problem. They'll be creating a bigger problem: A world-wide underground of steroid/prohoromone/supplement drug dealers and user bases. Keep messing with peoples' freedoms and this is exactly what will happen. I've said my peace. :theshadow

If anything the feds have made this sport more dangerous.

People used to have an outlet to test their gear. Now they do not. More UG labs will produce bad products and good bros will have no way of checking it.

BTW- does anyone know of any OVERSEAS testing places? If so PM me.

the truth ^^

The only thing this changes is where the powders wil be produced and time to get new companies to do testing. I know a couple legitiment companies that are producing powders with 100% legal background and are Canadian.

Yeah. How Ironic. Now there is no check system on the UG's that are still around. While some :theshadow ug's that have been accused of underdosing condemn this action publicly, you know it means that we are gonna get fucked. Without SRCS I think I am going back to Sustanon preloads and Primoteston.

The president of srcs recently confirmed in an interview that he believes he was ratted on by a Lab that got a poor review on their stuff
