I dont drink any more.I went to rehab and I am 4 weeks sober now.drinking beer is a thing of the past fore me but I can see why you said this I am a alcaholic and I was drinking way to much.how ever I am doing every thing I can to stay clean.I go to meetings 3 times a week and I talk to my sponcer every day.there is many times I feel like giving up and having a beer.it is something I am shore you would never understand.thank you though because post like this help me to remamber how bad I was and keep me from going back.

And lol @ all this for karma. It's like Hammy is an anthropomorphism of karma... he's often treated as the grand personification of karma instead of a bloody member. His name comes up, and everything turns to karma. I thought he was just cool as a member here, karma notwithstanding.

Not really, I just like karma award threads ('cause then people get more interested and intense in the discussion). I'm not trying to say, "give me all your karma" or anything, lol, I just know that karma generates interest.

If you wanted to, make some general science (any area, acoustics, whatever!) thread and throw 10K karma as an award or something. Ya know, that kinda thing.

(Plug for the Science Forum: My 100,000 karma prize is still unclaimed/undecided, so if anyone's interested, head on over! *End plug*)

Since we have a generally popular thread here that many are reading, I'd like to tell everyone to pop on over to the science board. We have interesting topics there from cookery to astronomy via colours and echo chambers. If you have any interest in the world around you or even in parts of your own body then we have people there eager to talk about it.

On the subject of K-Threads, most end up going to less-than-satisfactory answers. This means that most makers of K-Threads are drooling to find a good, interesting post to award the Karma to. They're easy to snap up with a little thought and Samoth still has 100,000 waiting for a good response. May your post be the good one.

If you have spare K and don't like the idea of making a K-Thread then donate it to Samoth, he'll put it to good use.

I think its weird how everyone here on EF is obsessed over karma . Its kind of like the way that some institutions are just obsessed with money.

LOL I know for all the time Ive been here I've never had over 30,000K - finally I had 40,000 then they changed the K system and I ended up with 0 or something... Then I made a few long shot bets in the bookie forum, begged Hotzie to give me 20,000 so I could bet against him using his own karma - and now I just won the USC Notre Dame game.

phew. too early for typing.
