He's used some of it for gambling.

Has anyone gone out of their way to make him feel welcome here recently? It's well-known that Karma is for hoarding, anyway, and rodent piss really can turn ordinary Karmas into gold.

Your perspective is different to that of a hard-core Karma magnate.

What's the point of a bond? By last June, we were picking up a million in under three weeks and accelerating. A bond, currently, would give him 192,000-ish per month and plunge him into anonimity. It's worth that to sit atop the tree and flaunt the wealth that is still sitting there, unassailable five months after the holocaust.

Since the K changes(good hits come from your own stash) - I know that 1 million in three weeks wont ever happen again.

Even 190k per month is unlikely(unless you are hitting the K bookie).


Since he isnt here to actively gain k...I would have thought that 500k in 3 months would have been a good yield for a absentee k ho
 
I remember last June thinking over similar lines. For some of us, it's worth the small loss to remain on the Millionaires board and also still have enough teeth to dissuade gratuitous red attacks and be able to give out the occasional juicy hit. I know that many did pour their K into bonds.

I haven't beaten him, I'm just currently ahead from the Boookie Forum.

A board needs a strong Hamstershaver. I think, like them or loathe them, many have forgotten how much he and Klu brought to the board.

Speaking of the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade did anyone else see Maverick singing "What the World Needs Now" in the last hour. Looks like he's gotten a lot of botox lately.
 
He lurks the boards and places bets in the bookie forum, as previously stated. Whether he plans to start posting more frequently shouldn't be a factor in determining what to do with his karma.

I know the question was why did he leave in the first place, but it's obvious admin has toyed with the idea of distributing his karma to others; I personally don't want to see this happen, even if I was to get every green dot of it.

Let him keep it.
 
Hammy is a fun poster and I always enjoyed him. When I first came here, he was very decent to me.

I think he has a healthy ego and likes being a leader ... thus the other boards. And that isn't bad.

I'd quess he also doesn't like being bullied. No one does.

His K is his to do as he pleases for as long as he has an active Membership. It is a contract.

Otherwise ... he can fill in the blanks.

Admin can manufacture or delete all the K they choose to by changing numbers in a database. Why would they care how many are allocated to Hammy's account for any fiddling with that database?

We need to have Hammy sitting there as a paragon of Karma, giving the lowly an insight into what the truly great are able to achieve.

I imagine this is admin's way of still trying to capitalize on hammy's popularity/controversial nature even after he left the place.
 
Rick, just give 15% to me, Stilleto and Klu, and keep the rest for yourself. Sounds pretty fair to me.

Point is that he left. The only reasons that I see him posting here is to
(a) make more karma through the events or
(b) post when ever any one mentions any thing about his precious karma. Due to the fact that he has a few people over here on elite that post links on FAB when ever any one makes a hammy karma thread...
As if Karma is the only thing that this site is good for.
Personally I think that he should either post here or not. It is clear that he is not on vacation and he is not working too much to post as he is posting at the other site....
If he is all set with being here than why let him sit at the top of the leaders board????

Does any of us have a duty or responsibility to post here to retain our K? Is there some post-quota we're required to maintain?

Absolutely not. Not sure why anyone would give a crap if he posts here or not. There's not rule about this. Leave him be. He's still active on the Karma Bookie forum anyway. Let it drop, people. How dumb.

That word "capitalize" would mean we have something to gain. Hammy doesn't make us any money. If anything, we have spent money on him.

You whole post is null any way because he hasn't left.
