oh I totally understand from a pats fans perspective. But I don't think alot of people realize that Belichicks system made Brady look good........Brady does make all the right throws, no doubt. But if you put Brady behind any line in football he's not going to do so good. That's why I prefer Manning even though Brady has a better arm. Honestly, and I hate to say this........I think Cassel will probably get them to the AFC championship at the least. I don't think they can win a superbowl seeing as how strong the NFC is going to be this year.......but they may very well go back......who knows.

good post, but the Belichick "system" argument for Brady is Def. valid for 2001-2004ish, make the righ throws, short dink and dunks, don't give the game away.
The last couple of years it's been more of a result of Brady Maturing AND having a great supporting cast ie. Welker, Moss, Morris, gaffney, Stallworth, Maroney, Faulk, and a athletic Offensive line.
Manning def is a sicker pocket QB for most of his career than Brady.
Brady just seemed to have the intagebles(sp)
