So I got a tattoo...

i'm telling you that moisture draws out color. i don't know if you paid money for this, or if some biker marked you, but i have around 30 or so. it's not that complicated. if the place didn't give you literature on tat care, well, i'd hate to see what kind of work they did....
He is correct my place told me not to put anything on it for 3 days. Then start applying lotion. My tat is all very vivid colour none of it bleed. Plus the dude has 30 pretty sure he knows his shit.

the main point i wanted to make is that he should have gotten some info from the place who gave it to him. do you realize that is considered along the lines of a surgical procedure? they need to provide you with a care sheet.

Good point mine gave out little care card once I was finshed.

there is a lot of factors involved in a good tat.
1) ink. it can be cheap or quality. if you get something really cheap, there's a reason.
2) needles. same as ink. there are many different kinds/brands. once again, you get what you pay for.
hell, i hottub, tan, spend weekends on a boat, my stuff is still bright. cuz i got what i paid for.

P.S.: if it gets real itchy, smack or slap on it lightly. it works like scratching, but doesn't pull off scabs.

Hi flyin J,
Congrats on you new tattoo. My hubby owns a tattoo shop. He instructs his clients to apply a VERY THIN (barley shiney) layer of Aquaphor, or A&D ointmen 3-4 times a day unil scab starts to form (2-3 days). After day 3 then switch to a non oily lotion such as Curel or Keri lotion- You can apply as oftern as needed, but be careful not to apply too much at one time. Dont let it dry out= otherwise you could get a thick scab and risk pulling color out- epecially since you have a physical job and the tattoo is on your back. Dont cover it with any bandage. DO NOT pick at it. Also inquire about aftercare from where you had the tatto done.
The only time people dry heal is if they have a problem with healing ie:lack of taking care of it or a heavy handed artist.
You know everybody has different opinions on aftercare, but this is what works best for us.
If you want to check out his tattoos go to www.creepyconcepts.net
Best of luck to you! Sarita.

A&D lotion works the best for most people, but I know others where vasoline is the best for them, unfortunately you wont know whats best until its too late, tat goo pulls the colour out for me, but a&d works great

some of those airburhses are tight as fuck

iv always wondered what happens if you are a BB and get at at and then ur body grows does it distort the image

i suggest A&D ointment but be careful man some stuff like neosporin and vaselin can cause the ink to leech color, but saran wrap def isnt needed after the first day.

just remember at all costs dont break the scabs or it will get messed up.

cool bro, i have 75 tats

hi Sublime ,
thanks dude thats cool im sure he'll be glad you looked at his site,
my husband actually got a tat and the dude who did saved the stencil(for what ever nasty reason) and they put them side by side, and after 3 years of working out the one he had was quite larger(thank god) equally. so it stretches out evenly.
