So how come people get banned?

Got a buddy of mine (Phillypaone) who says hes been banned and doesnt know why...can anybody shed some light on this for me?
 
C'mon...its a legit question. Let's all set good examples and answer the man's question. You can get banned by asking repeated questions that violate the rules (see stickys posted at top for complete rules). That is one way...
 
You can be BANNED for no reason at all, it is the sole discretion of ELITEFITNESS.

So, if you come on here acting like an asshole and think you won't get BANNED just because you don't break a rule or openly ask for a source, you are WRONG MOTHAFUC-AAAAASS!

Break anyone of the below rules ,PA1 has been banned 2 times that i know of and broken 1 of the rules that i know of any other Q's



1) EF is not a source board. We don't discuss any aspect of buying and selling. This includes source names, UG labs, prices, payment methods, shipping, receiving, Customs, etc.

2) EF staff do not do source checks, and we dont get involved in scammer issues. These are just other aspects of buying and selling and are no concern of ours.

3) The PM system should not be used for soliciting sources or customers or doing source checks between members. Anyone so doing will be banned. Anyone "doing business" with a member banned for using the PM system in this way will be banned as well.

If you receive a PM soliciting sources or your offering to sell you something, or asking for a source check please forward it to a mod.

4) We dont discuss the use of recreational drugs (meth, coke, X, GHB, K, etc). There's no place for that on a Fitness and Bodybuilding Board.

Creating drama, harrassment, threats, or anything that violates the Rules and Terms of Service are other reasons for being banned.

People get banned for asking mods and admen why people got banned. If some one on aas gets banned just move the fuck on and do not ask why ever. Got it people. We are the law and thats the way its going to be around this forum. So please don't even think about asking why.


We run A tight (and very fare ship) we lay out the rules nice and plan. Fuck with the rules and you are subject to be banned. If you have a problem with the rules we have or the way a mod enforces them. Then go talk to admen or fill out a compliant ticket. Never ever bring it on the open board. We will have order and we will not allow people to question that order in the open. Get it got it good.

O btw your banned bro.
 
Needto you ever get put on time out back in the day?

I know I did. SHit they even banned my IP address, someone wanted me gone bad.

I had to visit on a whole other proxy for shits sakes.lol
 
People dont get banned around here for no reasons plenty of stupid newbs violate the rules before reading stickies and TOS....If philly was banned, rest assured it was for a good reason.

The aas board has made great improvements for a number of reasons.
1. because we have cut out all the bullshit
2. we have mad it safe
3. we do not allow people to fuck with what we have don.
4. We have become a family that sticks together and helps each other in every aspect of the game In a safe way.
5. We set clear cut rules and we do not allow people to slide on them.
6.we made mava and needto elite mods.
7.Mods demand and get the respect they need to run a clean board.

Thats just some of the reasons.

Helping bros out to achieve the bodies they dream of. That's the ticket here. All the other rules and reasons are to ensure that this gets done.
That's why I like it here. The other boards are always bitching at eachother. Nothing really gets accomplished. Here, help is given everytime, and we have fun and joke with eachother in between. EF is a sweet site.

In the past we there has been agendas and politics behind bannings. In the past there was reason to ask why some one was banned. Rest assured we run one hell of a clean ship here. There is never a reason to ask why. Because the reason is always one of the following.

1 they broke the rules
2. they got in the way of a mod doing there job
3. they were a hurting the board in some way
4. they were an all around asshole to the point were a lot of members were not happy with them.
5. A mod gave them some kind of a warning and they did not learn from it.


We do not banned people for the fun of it or because of any kind of personal reasons. We are all about business around here. All about making a safe, happy,informative board where any one can become a active member and learn.

Guys, it's really simple. Think of needto and Mav as Casino owners in Vegas. You fuck with them, you're history. I know for a fact that both of them try really hard to keep things organized, informative and under control for all the active members to get the full benefit of the site, and they can't have people question their abilities or decisions. If you dnt trust their judgement, then there are always other boards on the world wide web.

Then you get pricks like this guy asking in public why his friend got banned? The least he could've done is politely PM a mod about it.

I was a mod on another board (no names will be mentioned) and I know how stressful it can be for people to question authority with bs comments. If admins didn't trust needto and Mav's judgement, they wouldnt have been mods.

Need I say more?

Here's how to stay safe:

1- Read the forum rules

2- Read them again

3- Start posting IN THE CORRECT FORUM

4- Be respectful and use constructive criticism

I didn't think the topic was all that bad. It's good info for noobs. If I got banned I would want to know why. Of course, I probably wouldn't do something stupid like ask for a source or any of the crap that causes you to get banned.

Anyway, the mods do do a good job of keeping things organized. They also do an exceptional job of trying to help people (Needto). Overall I think I trust their decisions.

I have been around for a little while

and ELITE by FAR is the most tolerant, UNBAN happy, chance giving, good willed place I know.

If your straight up you get treated that way if not your out of luck.

but even then chances are given.

I agree. I have been on alot of boards where you can be banned far more quickly and easily, but with good reason too.

Simple. Because they deserve it.

IMHO – not speaking for anyone except myself here:

This is a community, do something that degrades or puts the effective functionality and growth of community at risk and it’s off to banned camp.

At the same time, do something to put EF—and thereby the people that rely on it to feed their family, at legal or financial risk, and it’s off to banned camp.

i usually don't give a shit why someone was banned. but if you look or are at the right place at the right time its obvious.
 
what sux is when u r off for about a week and come back and big names are gone, of course i am curious but asking is only asking for trouble so it is written
