Skinny guy question

Uice

New member
Hi all, newb here. I'm a 21/M that weighs about 110 and is sick of being a walking skeleton. I've also got the skinny neck syndrome--you know, with the protruding Adam's apple. Just recently I've being thinking about juicing, but I dunno anything about doing it. What would everyone recommend? I'm not trying to become the next Arnold or anything, I'd just like a decent, semi-beefy body with nice abs, naturally. Thanks in advance

Don't even think about drugs to grow. By your stats I guess you've never touched a dumbell in your life. First thing, keep reading this board about training and nutrition. Learn as much as you can. If you have douts or question just ask here. You are young and with good excercise, nutrition, motivation you can grow a lot in a year. You need discipline and be focused on what you want. It depends on you. No in drugs.

Well I definitely wouldn't be going nuts, I know in small doses steroids can be taken safely. I would be very cautious. Who makes the best candidates for juicers? I'm young, but I think my body has pretty much stopped growing, and I read about how steroids may potentially stop bone growth. I don't think I have that to worry about.

The thing is, I do have a nice gym set in my house and I've used it, and I've been drinking some protein drinks too... but it's definitely not enough. I've read countless times that to get big naturally, I need to be eating constantly, about 6 times a day, but I don't have the time. I'm either at school or work 90% of the time.

Would a little juice on the side be so harmful? Appreciate the help.

if you cant eat the way you're supposed to then the steroids wont help anyway

save your money until you can get your diet in check

That's why I'm telling you. You don't know about it. If you don't have time to eat, forget it. You have to make the time for what is more important. If you don't train properly and don't eat as you should, steroids will give you only negative effects to your health that you'll not know how to deal with. If you don't have a well organized nutrition plan and a workout schedule, steroids will give you only temporary water retention and no muscle. I repeat. Keep reading this board. Read everything you can. Learn and learn and learn again. Is the only way.

if you dont have the time to eat properly then you dont have the time to commit to steroids

steroids wont help much if your 110 and undereating.. youll put on water weight and some muscle during the cycle then when you stop the cycle you will drop down to 110 within a few months

go read up on the diet board and learn how to plan out 6 meals a day.. its all about the dedication not looking for a shortcut..

the training board is another great source of info as well..

good luck

You're getting good advice from everybody so far. To increase in weight you need to eat more...period. You can't produce muscles out of thin air.

To make the weight gain preferencially muscle and not fat, you need to eat high protein, moderate to low carb and fat meals 6-8 times per day. And, you need to stress you muscles with resistance training intensly enough and often enough to make them grow.

Steroids can help your muscles recover and grow more quickly after a workout so that you're ready to work them again. That's it...no magic.

If you're not eating and training properly then AAS is at best a waste of money and at worst a detriment to your health.

Listen,
I don't know what your financial situation looks like, but you didn't mention it's a concern either...specially if you can buy steroids, but not having enough time to eat your 6 meals a day is bullshit. Financially speaking, if you have the money you can buy a box of protein bars so you can have one on the way to class. You can buy already made shakes so you can drink them during work. You can buy special foods (like protein enriched pasta) so you get more protein when you eat your spaghetti for lunch. If you have time at night to watch tv, then you have time to cook and prepare your meals for the next day. I , along with many people on this board, work 10 hours or more a day and somehow find time to hit the gym in the morning and cook my meals at night for the next day (well sometimes my wife does it for me). BUT I make sure I eat 6 meals a day. Did you know that a meal replacement shake could count as one of your 6 meals? Or did you think that you would have to eat 6 lunches or dinners? It is possible to do it my friend. Just like everyone else said on here, if you can't eat, the juice won't do shit. It litteraly won't. You should get into a real gym, start feeling the flow (and the pumps), get used to eating more, drink more shakes, eat more protein bars, start putting on some weight, and THEN consider anabolics. If you don't have the change in lifestyle first, then you won't have it at all. Good luck.

Get at least 1 years natural training under your belt first. You need to eat lots of proteins from fish, meats, chicken brest, nuts etc (minimum of a gram per pound of bodyweight), train correctly, and get proper rest. You don't grow in the gym - the training done in the gym is the stimulus that causes the body to grow when you're resting and taking proper nutrition.. Told that to a guy once in my gym and his reply was "wow, that's an interesting theory"! You can put on alot of size and strength naturally by following the same basic rules that any bodybuilder follows in terms of training, rest, and diet. Then, after a year of training, knowledge, and research you can consider what path you wish to follow in your traiing next.....
