Didnt mean to upset you, but you posted an opinion. I posted mine. You do not need to be a white person to be a racist.

I'm not upset at all. This has been an interesting thread so far.

Ok I am not going to get into a huge argument with you about this sort of thing as you seem awfully upset.

You do not need to like the country that gives you the rights and privilages that you recieve here. You can just use those rights to go about your way and hate the government and the system that gives them to you.

You see I served this country, and I am proud to say the above statement. A person like you who wants to lash out because you dont seem to understand that good and bad all depends upon the side of the coin your on. I served to help defend your right to feel the way you do and say the things you do.

You see in some countries a lot of those that you speak of if you were to say these things(and in some of them if you were to just speak being a woman) you would be bludgeoned or killed on the spot. You can thank every man and woman of every race and ethnicity that defends your rights to act this way from the present and the past.

That's cool. I served this country too.

Some countries are way more screwed than this one, some are better. Women's rights are not stomped on in every country but the US, you know.

Others have even had female presidents.

Thing is, I wouldn't notice either.

Except when the landlady raised the rent way above what was advertised when she saw me coming, for example.

You folks brought up the race issue. I merely stated in the beginning that

PEOPLE OF COLOR have every reason to feel skeptical about things.

I really don't like to discuss race, per se...just that there are people of color, people who are not of color.


Come on..lets get back on topic....why SHOULDN"T people of color be angry? Because the playing field is even? Ya.
