Sick of the Winter...Where is Summer?

I need it to be summer now!!! I hate getting dressed to go to a club....I hate the cold wheather.....I miss my Capris!.....I miss my Real Tan...not this fake tan I have now.....I MISS TEMPTS!

Clubhead...Call me....I am going to AC for New years...if you want a room give me a call...bunch of us are going.....Staying at the Shitty ass Tropicana....because rooms are $500....not $1,000 lkike other places....we are going to go to a nice dinner....chill out gamble a little then hit up Club Tru or something....If you are interested hit me....
 
I know dude, the worst part is its not even winter yet...I'm trying to set goals for myself until at least sring is here. I have a feeling this is gonna be a bad winter too. All well this is what makes summer time that much better when it finally hits us. I don't know what it is but this is the most deppressed I have ever gotten from summer ending.

I know what you mean bro, it was fuck hot out here in L.A today. 85 degrees I think. I'm sure glad i don't live in the east coast. Hate cold weather and snow.
 
i miss the summer too...i mean it gets so dark so early now, after work all i feel like doing is going home to sleep....it is starting to get too cold out to feel like going to the gym and next thing we know we are going to get this huge snow storm to interupt a gym night and what not....i hate the winter!!

also, i don't feel like driving 2 hours to NYC to SF anymore, because if you get to SF before 7am if blows and then you aren't even guaranteed a good time....we don't have Exit anymore (that was good in the winter a few years ago)...i haven't found any other club really worth going that has the same SC/Tempts vibe...

Stacked...not sure yet what we are doing for New Year's..we will KIT....don't think you have met Mrs. Tony and her man yet...we are all going to have a "sick" time this summer...they are Tempts virgins..haha...hopefully sunday nights at Tempts doesn't get too "commercialized" like SF has...lol...

wanna check out Metro one of these friday nights for RR...heard the vibe in there is really good...what do you think???
 
well...just got word that i have to work on jan.2nd...so we will be going out closer to home....probably club Tru with you guys...we'll talk before then....and yes, you can take your shirt off there...haha

i will heading to SouthBeach mid january, so i should be pretty ripped for new years myself....gotta get the nito-tech/cell-tech/ hydroxycut trifecta going in full effect...have you seen what that combo did for Lee Priest in the ads???...i have been saving my $$ up to do it right...toilet:

let me know your thoughts on Metro...want to go there really soon, and Tsettos is at this hot spot in philly called 1616 on nov. 23rd...we will definitely be there that night...should be a good time.:
 
Clubhead- Go and check out metro, i'm assuming your talking about metro lounge in paramus jersey.. That place has the closest vibe to a surf club or tempts for the winter time. Only thing is the place closes at 2:30 which really sucks. Very good looking crowd and alot of fun till it closes mad early.

New Club

In a couple weeks a new club is opening in Asbury Park. It's called Harry's Roadhouse, sounds like a redneck bar but I know a girl who is going work there and she said some guys from Manhattan bought it and are putting a ton of money into it. It's supposed to be very upscale with a strict dress code. If you are not familiar with Asbury, it is basically Newark with a beach, but they got all kinds of redevelopment grants and are trying to rebuild the town. Hope it's good since I only live 5 mins away.
 
cool...maybe they'll have Bruce come in and do the ribbon cutting ceromony....j/k....that would be cool to have another beach type spot...as long as they keep out the trash and the parking is safe...the problem is (like in Atlantic City)...word gets out that a new place to go and check out girls wearing hardly anything and gutter trash starts showing up....

keep us posted with any info you hear....i don't like a beach type place with a strict dress code, unless that means the less clothes the better...lol;)
 
Jlony...good to be seen! I am going to HuinkaBunka on saturday ...you in? I dont know about this Harrys Roadhouse...sounds more like a gay bar......At leat there wont be Asian Kids With Glow Sticks on Crack.....
 
I dont know what i am doing sat, but definetly going to bunka the night bf thanksgiving. I wouldnt consider this new place to be a beach place. You really dont want to go wandering around asbury, especially at night. I did hear that the parking lot is going to have a lot of security.

jujube...Whenever I call you..the cell connection gets all messed up....call me tonight...we need to talk....I have to get up there.....! Or you need to come down here.....I hope Tsettos does well....His sets have not been as good as the summer....but it might be different.....
 
Stacked....you better not go up to Boston without telling me and A...A- WILL NEVER TALK TO YOU AGAIN..j/k......she went to school up there and knows a lot of the djs and promoters (go figure) and misses it as much as i miss my mid summer pump....i think we may have given you a cd from DJ Nailz who is a resident at a couple spots up there

we will definitely be heading up there sometime after the new year for a long weekend...we have friends where we could probably stay and what not...i love Boston...

jujube, what afterhours club did Tsettos spin at up there??...wait til A- hears about this.....also Tsettos is in philly this coming sat nov. 23rd at 1616....
 
Clubhead-Tsettos was at Tantra afterhours along with dj rick naples-It was classics night there. Tsettos was pretty sick-gotta love his remix of darkbeat. he played at Metropolis that night in Rhode Island. If you guys come up with NJ stacked I'll set you guys up nice. Tantra is small but real fun.....great vibe-nailz will be back for a night there soon too.
 
we'll definitely keep in touch...i have never had a bad time in Boston....the only afterhours i ever went to up there was Rise on a saturday night and then to Pulse in RI....uggh!!...not to proud that i went to that place, but there wasn't anywhere else to go...last time i was up was october of '01.....

a lot has changed i can imagine...i still get some DJ nailz cds sent to me occasionaly....do you know where to get these by phone??
 
Club...JuJuBe and I met about three years ago in DC...We went to American University for an International Business & Trade Semester....We had the best 5 months of our lives in DC...we tore that place apart....I think we rolled about 3 times a week...the work there was a joke and we would just go to clubs like 4 nights a week.....Anyway we have been really good friends since our DC experience....
 
Clubhead-alot has def changed-there is another afterhours every fri and sat at the palace. I guess its called tilt now but whatever....it was good for a while but everybody goes to tantra now. Rise is a little to gay for my taste , but Therapy in RI has been real hot. I hear you though, Pulse is like a crack den! Some big name dj's have been gracing the decks up here in boston lately.-PVD, Sasha, Oakie have all been to avalon pretty recently. Roxy had it aniversary party on sat that was real amped from what I have heard. Nailz has a new website.....www.djnailz.net....you can go there and contact someone on the site to get cd's, or just call information and get the # for Boston Beat on Newbury Street in Boston-They will have his mixes and will probably send them to you no problem.

yea stacked we def ripped it up hard for a long time down there-not a worry in the world...buying disco biscuits off bums on the corner!...what the fuck were we thinking staying at Z all those nights (or should I say mornings) You thinking you were back at the club when we were in your room....tooo funny bro!Anyways-I'll give you a call from work tomorrow and we'll make some plans-A shitload of us are coming down to the factory for the classics party for sure-so rest up h mo-beantown is comin to get ya!

man, sounds like you guys had a ton of fun in DC....

i can't wait to get back up to Boston for sure....when we finally get the time to head up there i will let you know, and you can tell me where to go and what is hot..definitely want to check out Nailz at least one of the nights we are there and hitting afterhours is a must...who is ready to go home at 2am anyway???
