Shoulder Pain.

Ive got the same pain described by many of the bro's here... Really pisses me off!!! I can't do flat bench presses with a straight bar. Weird because as long as I am slow and deliberate and in total control I can do flat bench press with dumbbells. So far I have gone to 120's for 8 reps and no pain. With straight bar I hit 300 and Im crippled, the pain is immediate and lasts for several days after. I can do military presses with dumbbells only also, as soon as I go to straight bar the pain is intense. Im going to start some MSM soon and see if that helps. Additionally, do you bro's feel 300mg's of Deca pw will help the problem?? I am currently on a Cyp, Eq, Fina cycle. I am only considering adding the Deca if it will help this problem...

Deca will only mask the pain, which may cause more problems since your streangth is going through the roof due to the fina.

I'd also appreciate an update on this problem after the mri etc, thanks- AD

The shoulder is probably the most faulty joint in the body. There are many different things that could be causing the pain as you see from everyone's post. But just because that is what caused their pain doesn't mean it is what is causing your own. Don't self diagnose yourself, see a specialist. I'd recomend seeing both a Orthapedic as well as a sports doctor if possible to get two different opinions. And to start with I'd recomend taking my advice about behind the neck exercises (they're no good for your shoulder) any physical therapist will tell you that.

Thats weird.. That describes my problem exactly. Hurts alot on decline bench press and military press, same exact spot. Two things have helped me. Lower weights and more reps with very slow controlled motion and advil 2 hours before the gym. I know you shouldn't take advil everyday but just on the days that your particular exersise gives you the most trouble. Hope this helps...

Hi

I have a shoulder pain after doing the Wide Grip Lat Pulldown.

The pain is on the bone at the top of the delt...the hard "nobble" like bone...if i press on it its a sharp'ish pain...

Any idea what this could be?

thanks
do you pull to the back or to the chest?

U should get it checked out before it leads to something more serious. Also don't do the exercise that is causing the pain. Try doing something else instead for that bodypart.
