Shoulder Pain.

I've had bad shoulder problems too. I found out that what I was doing was bringing the weights too far down when doing Military press and bench press. Now I only bring it down so that my arms are just slightly more than 90%. That has helped it alot. The sports medicine doctor told me that with all the weight I was using when you bring it past 90% you're just tearing up them rotator cuff muscles. Their are also exercises that you can do to strengthen those rotator cuff muscles. I do them and they are great.
 
I have the same problem... i did a deca/sust cycle last winter and it helped with my rotator cuff problem but, now the pain has shifted to the bone on the top of the shoulder and kinda the front of the shoulder... but, i have found a remedy to my pain :D My friend works in a pharmacy and she hooks me up with Vioxx ... it works wonders for me. It is used for arthiritis and is a very strong anti inflammatory. give it a whirl ... see how it goes bro.
 
I had the same problem but it's been getting better. I was seeing a ART (active release therapist) and we found it to be a weak subscapularis muscle that was severly affecting my shoulder joint stability. Overhead presses, barbell flat and incline aggravated it most. Go see one of those guys.
 
Do you do lat pull downs behind the neck or to the chest? All movements behind the neck are an EXTREME strain on the rotator cuff and shoulder joints. Avoid them if you have shoulder pain. You should also avoid upright rows. Also avoid lowering your arms below parallel to the floor while doing bench and if you can dumbell bench presses are more natural than barbell
 
I too had this problem for a while... Deca Bro.... DECA...

It truly cured this problem... post cycle you'll have to go a little bit lighter, but I noticed a drastic difference...
 
I have pain in my right shoulder and elbow often, it is usually not while lifting but afterwards. I usually just take some Advil and watch my form with heavy presses. Hopefully the deca in my current cycle will take care of it.
 
i went to the doctor for similar elbow pain. after an x-ray and an mri, he said that i had localinflamation and that i should lay off the weights for 3 months. i have started takng MSM and i am about to start some decca. the MSM really helps!
 
I just had both shoulders scoped in the past 8 weeks...left 3 weeks ago and right 8 weeks ago.

The problem that you have sounds like what I had. The problem is that your Acromiom and shoulder blade bone are rubbing...this will cause 2 things to happen...

1st it will cause a bone spur...I had one in each of my shoulders.

2nd problem is that your bursa which is below the acromiom gets swollen this is what is causing the pain...and when you take anti-inflamitory durgs like Vioxx or Celebrex the pain starts to go away.

Forget about the cortisone shots...you need to have this problem scoped to remove the spur...shave the bone down to prevent the spur from coming back and removal of the bursa...most docs may not want to remove the bursa but insist. The procedure is called a subacromial decompression/ AC Resection...go look it up on the web there is a lot of info on it.

To the guy that his doc said that nothing was wrong I recomend that you go to another doc...you need to see an orthopedic surgon that specializes in shoulders.
