shoulder injury?

THE GOOD SUN said:
i'm gonna start a "my shoulders are phucked club"

first rule is ...we don't talk about surgery
second rule is ...we DON'T TALK ABOUT SURGERY

...and my i suggest third rule be that we don't talk about injecting sugar into our shoulders ...LOL (unless of course it's post workout and preceded by a lil slin) + i don't think mine needs any help in the inflamation dept ...LOL

the floor is open for any other rule suggestions
hey i read that website i found for prolotherapy and it sounds pretty wild but makes some sense too
i would try it
BTW it sure sounds like you need a mechanic to open the hood and replace that spring in your shoulder.
did you see a sports doc for a second opinion/options yet?

Ok, I had a slap tear on my right shoulder years ago. I put it off for several months till my waterski season was over. Was pretty bad and shoulder was loose as hell. I could almost take it out of the socket just by raising my arm. I had it repaired and it was an older method than they use now. Plain and simple, shoulder injury and surgeries suck. Sometimes they are unavoidable, enven with Prolo! Yep, have done that too. I have had both shoulders done and my right one is trashed again. (surgery was like 16 years ago) I tried prolo 3 times and its no better so I'm off to the ortho again.

Make sure you go to a good sports guy that has a proven rep. My guy uses surgery last and works with many reputable organizations. (Poliquin Center, Chicago Bears and Bulls, etc)

Good luck bro.....

thats cool and im not gonna break the rules again but from that website i read this
Each of these factors can cause your body to produce tough, dense scar tissue in the affected area. This scar tissue binds up and ties down tissues that need to move freely. As scar tissue builds up, muscles become shorter and weaker, tension on tendons causes tendonitis, and nerves can become trapped. This can cause reduced range of motion, loss of strength, and pain. If a nerve is trapped you may also feel tingling, numbness, and weakness.

so do something and make a decision quickly in my opinion
if not the unmentioned then you have two alternatives

that nerve part is what gets me, cuz i do have that ...but it's slight and i really don't want to believe that it's there ...i've been having the girl massage it since i read that myself ...i guess with hopes of untrapping it?

i really want to immobilize it properly and see what that does for me ...before surgery ...and just my luck, the closest clinic is like 57 miles away

+ you can break the third rule, Acne ...i was only teasing you :)

i know brotha
i wish i knew more to help
good luck

i know when ive felt my worst this board made me feel better
thats why i came back after so long

I'm pretty sure most of the guys on this board have some kind of shoulder pain, I constantly get worried about my shoulders because some times i feel light pains after going heavy with dumbells, so i don't do dumbell flatbench any more, i am currently on deca right now which will probably ease the pain,

but from what i've heard and read, when u go to a surgeon, they just want to cut you with out any other options, the truth is tha sometimes there's a good amount of procedures u can do before going under the knife
