shin splints issues

I need some tips on how to cure shin splints guys, after I turned 40 I get them very often every time I run, thank you.

shin splints are a red flag

1. your shoes are poor
2. you are running on hard surfaces
3. you are heel striking

the best cure for them is running barefoot on grass

once you do get them you need to back way off or they will get worse and worse.
