I think it's best trimmed, but not completely shaven. In addition to the pre pubescent thing, there is also the razor burn to consider, as well as the razor bumps.
 
IMO, if a girl is shaved it is like she is pretending to be a little girl which I think is sick, plus, I do not think it looks as good as neatly trimmed.
 
I prefer shaved. Makes it much more enticing to go down on. I've never turned away a hairy poon, but hairy girls usually smell more and I don't like getting pubes in my mouth. But if I'm just gonna slam the girl it doesn't matter either way.
