not just here on this board... but from ppl i know (i d some laser removal and i wasnt happy at all) too seeing ppl going to diff docs all the time. to even celebs having horrid looking surgeires...why? (u see tara rieds nipple after her surgery? O M FUCKING GOSH ..u know she went to a top boob doc as well and it looked like shit even) u watch stern and u see the porno stars had to get there boobs redone all the time..ppl like pam anderson have had a few boob jobs...seems like she would have the best doc out there....

i know the success rate is higher but still too many unsatisfied peeps out there. ..... i know ppl think the surgeries are going to change there life so thats maybe why they arent happy but what about ALL THE operations where it is an abosulute diaster :( i know some peeps arent happy all the way but you hear about too many that are just horrid? i know some peeps over do it and go in time after time to fix it and this can lead to problems etcc...

how does one pic the right doc? why so many screw ups still? are there too many plastic surgeons out there in the market? it seems there too many out west imo...

I for one always prefer women who are all natural, I think the sexiest creatures on the planet are natural women with no tatoos at about 180lbs with a lot of curves between the ages of 35 and 50 wow !

One thing people have to realize is that if you aren't happy with yourself BEFORE the surgery, it will not make things better and there is always risk involved.

I found my doc via referral from my OB. She told me that she had seen a lot of her work and it was BEAUTIFUL! I had an abdominoplasty, mastopexy and implants and when I was still modeling I had botox and collagen - nothing to freakishly change my appearance just make me look a bit more youthful, very subtle stuff.

Now that I am quickly approaching 40 I am thinking about something for fine lines (botox and collagen are temporary) and I will need new implants. Not sure what I am going to do.

I trust my doc implicitely and would not go to anyone else no matter who recommended.

Everybody's body responds differently to the stress of surgery. Even the best docs have patients with complications. The key is to ask questions about it and anticipate the problems before they arise so steps can be taken early to intervene. BigJosh, RN
