GYM!!! Hams, glutes, and abs...Kinda a so-so workout, seemed to hit the glutes pretty good though since I can already feel those!

m6: 2 scoops protein, 1 scoop glutamine, 1 scoop creatine, 1 scoop powerade
m7: 5 oz chicken, lettuce, mushroom, onion
m8: 1/2 scoop protein, 2 tbl Power BUtter

***Had really upsetting dreams that kept me in a BLAH mood for most of the morning then I had a killer headache all day long to boot which is still really bothering me :rolleyes: Also could explain the lack of appetite besides the being very TIRED too... ***

Awww, hope you feel all better soon, duckie! :rose: Just curious if you've noticed in any change in your sleeping with the increased food.....for me, with my new carb cycling between training & non-training days, I've been sleeping pretty well.

I also wanted to ask if you eat your shredded wheat plain? I have an unopened box and wasn't sure if I wanted to add cottage cheese or soy milk to it.

Hey roony, JP, and Fly! :wavey: Thanks for the get well vibes and wishes... must be why my headache is all gone now too :D Its not that I have problems sleepin LOL because once I pass out I'm out for the night, just not gettin enough of it is all... thanks for the tips though! Oh yeah Roony I eat the shredded wheat plain or sprinkle some pumpkin pie spice on it too because its yummy :p You can also do cinnamon and splenda as well!

Yeah just don't heat it up in the microwave more then 30 seconds or it will burn and the house will smell burnt for days :rolleyes:

Headache I think is due to lack of sleep, and also the heavier weights on the upper back (traps, levator area) causing tension headaches.. IMO

Oh hush u... I think you did the same thing at work burnin it too :lmao: I've avoided microwave altogether with it since then tho... LOL. I would agree with your diagnosis of headaches to :)

Do you two work together too?
I just use skim milk & Splenda on my shredded wheat. Good idea with the spices. Gonna try that tomorrow.

This is good stuff...great source of complex carbs! Just make sure the ingredients say 100% pumpkin. Libbys is a good brand - 45 cals, 9g carbs, 2g protein for 1/2 cup (how sad that I have all these macros memorized now!! :rolleyes: )

Me too!!! They have a good bar down there on the walk I can't recall the name but it's an Irish pub... WARNING do not listen to the guy with the microphone especially once you have drinks in you!!!! He will pull tables together and have you show off tattoos, and piercings, and what not... and make you do wierd dances with your own co-workers if they come :lmao:

But how do you eat it? I could see w/some pumpkin pie spice & sweetner, but by itself?? Seems kinda weird. Maybe if I mixed some chopped walnuts or something in I could almost imagine it was pie w/o the crust.

Gotta think about this more ... Let me know!! :)

Oh god no, I don't eat it by itself. It's pretty tasteless. I mix it in with cottage cheese and raisins (but with nuts or other fruit like a chopped apple will work too) or throw it into my oats. You can also mix it in with egg whites to make pancakes. And it tastes very good mixed in with Vanilla Creme muscle milk - like pumpkin pudding almost!

Yup all the above mentioned are really good... mixed in oats or with vanilla protein prob my two favorite ways though :p

Can the whole wheat pasta you use be used in soup? i am anwering myself now...LOL...But why do they pre cook udon then??? $64,000 question...

Thanks hun! I was pretty happy with body fat going down too especially since I've been eating more too, which I also think has helped give me more energy during my workouts too, and then the extra push and spottin from T is a big help too :) Just bout benched my weight in incline DB press yesterday!

Worked my way up to 65 lb db's for 4th set of 6 reps with T spottin me :) thanks for the props girl, and yup droppin BF is nice with eatin more but also hungry all the time last few days :rolleyes:

GYM!!! Back and abs... all weights went up so I'd say it was a pretty good workout :)

m8: 1 scoop protein, 4 egg whites, 2 tbl ANPB

GYM!!! Quads and calves... all my weights went WAY up so it was a perdyyyyy good workout ;)

How much chicken do you buy at one shot? Do you go to Costcos? I'm noticing you're almost eating a pound a day....but obviously it's paying off with all the gains in your workouts!!

Btw, can you post the recipe for your orange chicken again? I still haven't tried it out and I think that's the reason I bought a crockpot ;)

Mmmmmmmmmm, sounds good. Love to try that out.
I buy my chicken at Costco. Good price, good size, usually 3 bags at a time.

NOt sure Flor... we aren't doing squats right now in our workout, but I got up into the 500's last night with leg press which I was pretty pleased with :)

Yeah the amount of chicken that T and I go through is crazzzzzzzzzzy :lmao: But yeah, usually get it at Sams and buy 2 or 3 huge bags of the frozen, or like the other night just cleaned them outta all they had left for the fresh stuff... but I'd say a good 30-40 lbs or so?!?! Yeah I had up'd my cals to the 1800 range for the last couple weeks... but thats getting up'd again about 200 cals so I'll be around the 2000 cal range :chomp:

I got a ton of GREAT recipes for ya girl for crock pots and chicken... some are in recipe thread but I can get the rest in there too for ya!!!

Thanks, SBT!! :rose: Got your message as well...do you think using sugar-free berry jelly will work instead of orange marmalade? I have raspberry, strawberry and mixed berry sf unopened jelly jars from Whole Foods so I don't want to buy any more of this stuff if I can help it.

***Need to have my butt in bed but figured I'd post up food for the day before I forget to do this entry :lmao: ***

m1: Pumpkin Pancake again :p :chomp: (Got full though and couldn't finish it all...)
m2: 2 scoops protein, 1 tsp glutamine, 1 scoop NO2

GYM!!! Chest and arms... new PR's so I'd say it was a pretty good workout :D Then used the sponge rollers to work on quads a little bit too!

m3: 2 scoops protein, 1 tsp glutamine, 1 tsp creatine, 1 scoop Powerade
m4: 5 oz broiled salmon, romaine, mushroom, onion, almonds
m5: 1 scoop protein, 2 tbl ANPB :cold:
m6: 1 cup egg whites, 1 scoop protein

Heck ya those rollers rock... made my legs feel little like jelly and in a bit of pain while doin them but sure is worth it :) Thanks for the congrats hun! And pics will be posted in due time with a comparison from each month, not much to look at right now though :rolleyes:

GYM!!! Hams, glutes, and abs... ended up the strength cycle with a great workout, and surpassed all my weeks previous lifts and PR's :D
Trainer guy at the gym is a DICK though!!! :finger: :smash: :fistfullo :kapow: :chesty: :chainsaw: :destroy: :strider36 :theranger :doublefi:
Comes up and asks to see our training logs then goes on to BLAB for bout a good ten minutes that we are not making the most of our training and the icing on the cake at the end was him saying "train smarter not harder!" I think we both could have beat his @$$!!
