Merged our money when I came down here. He was supposed to add me to the account, but was always just "too busy" to do it.

It wasn't much money that I put in there, so no big deal, and I still have a healthy amount in retirement accounts. I have a couple grand coming from another account that I'm using to move.

When he promised this and that to you, did you PUT IT IN WRITING?! Hunny, if he was in JAIL and you helped him and went back to him, you should have made him sign a written document about what he was promising to do and that he would do it and all that crap...

I'm sorry but someone in my family was in the same boat and I had her write up a written documentation to prevent being screwed over. I hate the fact that he is doing this to you- it really pisses me off cause I've seen it happen and what happens to the "victim." But you don't have to be a vicitim- stand up for yourself and do whatever it is YOU need to do.

I hope you cancel all your credit cards if his name is on them, you cancel anything that is associated with him (like cell phones, cable, home phone, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING)....

Thanks guys. I guess stuff will turn around when we go to court and the truth comes out. He has been parking across from me at the store, lifting the hood of my car at night, having his lawyer call my dad and talk crap about me, and even snowed his probation officer into believing i'm the bad guy. The probation officer called me and threatened me for the ex-bf! That is the guy who I'm supposed to call if the ex violates the no contact order! Damn, some people suck. I haven't tried to stir any trouble, but he just won't stop.

A lobotomy might help both of them. Something tells me these two class acts would be better off lol.

No court date has been set yet. I called the prosecutor the other day, and she said that it could be a few months.

That is just the criminal case, though, regarding the aggravated battery. All this other stuff wont be relevant in that case. The only thing relevant will be will be the events surrounding the battery

If I want to bring up the broken oral contract, I would have to sue him in civil court. Of course, I do have a pretty good case against him, i.e., battery, assault, promissory estoppel, intentional inflection of emotional distress, property damage....I could go on...lol.
