Rotator Cuff Pain During Squats

About 10 years ago I partially tore both rotator cuffs. I had surgery on them both. I really didn't return to lifting until this past June. The first 6 weeks I was fine then the pain in my shoulders returned. When I do pressing movements I feel a grinding sensation. Worse, it hurts like hell to get my arms in the proper position for back squats. Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this situation? A month ago I had cortisone injections in both shoulders. It helped but only for a few weeks.

the way i see it ,you have two options you can take the bar and hold it in front of your chest which is a tad more difficult than rear squats also you could do dumbell squats with a dumbell on both sides or use a squat machine.
 
You can spend 400 on a safety squat bar. One of the benefits is not having your shoulders involved.
