Starting to look at mags for hair, jewelry, make-up ideas.... I bought some fake lashes yesterday so I can master the art of putting them on again... Been years since I put a pair on...

Here's a tip I found works really well......curl your lashes & appy mascara but no makeup yet.......put the glue on the lash & appy to your lash-line then press down with the handle of an eyeshadow brush...allow to dry then apply liquid eyeliner to blend the false eyelash line....

With my false lashes - when I put them on AFTER the rest of the eye makeup - while I was onstage, one started popping off.....very annoying, but it didn't happen when I put them on before eyeshadow.....try it out....

O.k. and also after much consideration, deliberation, and some coaxing.... I think I am going back to red hair for the show. I have quite a few magazines sitting in front of me trying to figure out the exact color. Red is easily screwed up in the dye world I know this. Which is why I'm going this week so I have plenty of time to get it right...
Quite a few people are excited about this decision... others' like my mom; like me better as a blonde. The suits are green and purple so they look good with red hair.
I called on them yesterday and left a message I'll hopefully hear something back about those today. Hair is also going to be worn up. I'm going to play my eyes up and lips down. Also, going to hit the posing hard this week and walking in the heels to look more comfortable, feminine, and get the muscles contracted properly while at the same time smiling...

I was thinking of doing brown/red/blonde highlights (I'm blonde) the next time I compete...hmmmmmmm

Thanks... I remember that about eyelashes now... Been there and done both of those things you listed. The eyeliner looks thousand times better on top. I had a few girls' I used to put them on and learned about applying them after the shadow and them falling off. Not good in a runway show!
About the pics sounds good

Little things make the difference with all other things being equal

Yeah I know this... My one friend took 3rd in her comp because her nails were not done!!! So I know how important it is. That's why I'm focusing now

What happened with her nails?? What wasn't done about them?? I'm curious....

She didn't go and have fake nails put on like the rest of the girls' had... The judges said that's why she dropped lower...possibly could have taken first!

Oh wow!! I wondered (really) if they even *looked* at the nails....guess they do!! Definitely will have to make sure I get the French done again, whether real or fake.....

Yeah she is one of my client's. I saw her last week and she reminded me,"Go get your nail appointment made!!"

O.k. there are two redhead's in the whole new edition of Oxygen....
Ok. 2 girls with really bad dye jobs and who don't even have a redheaded complexion. Ohhh but they have two comic strips both girls' have red hair. I'm talking front to back and ads included. Not one! What does this say? Redhead's sparse in the industry? They don't like redhead's? or is red hair out of season for them?
Hmmmm Still have my appointment tomorrow.

Yup well that's why I have an appointment tomorrow, and friday So I am going solid tomorrow. Give the hair a few days... then a few highlights on friday and a trim... Then I will have you all judge the new do
