Hmm these don't seem to be working!!!
I cannot concentrate on anything. I'm sitting here staring at this screen.... I hardly have the energy to type this... Nor look up hair color's... This is bad...
Going to force myself to go get some more water....

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

O.k... I'm on my second wave of energy thanks to Buns and Ilk!
I just ordered $135 worth of make-up that I will be able to practice with this weekend I'm psyched. That's the most money I ever spent on make-up at one time... It'll definitely be worth it though!
Still have like $200 to spend on waxing, obviously the hair coloring $150, My trainer is spray tanning me so just the actual product I need to purchase and I'm splitting the cost with his ex-girlfriend who is doing a show in August, manicure/pedicure $70, jewelry ?

This has definitely been an expensive adventure :)
$750 = suits
$4,800 = trainer/diet/posing/spray tanner
$250 = tanning
$130 = shoes
$200 = waxing
$150 = hair
$75 = manicure/pedicure
$150 = make-up (so far) still need foundation to match up
$?? = Jewelry
$?? = spray tan product
$?? = Competing costs
$2,000 = gym membership and initial costs

$8505 is so far what I have spent
Not including supplements, food, gas and time.....

treilin said:
Almost forgot to add... I talked with the lady making my suits yesterday she said I will have them 7-10 days before my show... She told me to go with rhinestone jewelry leaning more to silver then gold for backings.
Do I wear dangley earrings, or just diamonds? wear a bracelet, no neclace, maybe one ring?? Still figuring that out.... Also have to look at getting a different belly button ring.

1) Why no Mrs. Dash?? It's salt free....I can understand hot sauces, salsa & salted stuff.... curious.....

2) Watch the sprays with the Cooking Spray - 1 SERVING = NO CALS, but lots of sprays DO equal cals as the 0's on the label are NOT actually 0 but if it's .75 cals then the manufacturer is allowed to call is 0...that's how they trick ya....

And remember --> Hot pan + Cold Oil (or Pam) = Food won't stick

3) I wore: 1 bracelet, wedding rings & wore dangly earrings.......Except for my wedding stuff - the other stuff I got at Claire's....the bracelet is stretchy, so it's easy to put on & off with the nails (no little tabs, etc) plus they aren't expensive - so if they got stolen, it wouldn't matter. And I know girls who have had their stuff stolen backstage.

The stuff I got at Claire's are silver/rhinestones which look sparkly under the lights & you can use minimal jewelry in the pre-judge (depending on the rules) then wear more dangly earrings for the night show.....

I took a rolling small pilot's suitcase ($10) and used a combination lock on it when it wasn't in my sight with a luggage tag......

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

If hair is up...dangle earrings...ock stines to match suit(blue topaz or amethyst)

no necklace.....it will draw attention form your fantastic delts

Speaking of PAM - it looks GREAT on top of protan for a great sheen

Thanks Jens for the info!!!! :bigkiss:
Shadow said that Mrs. Dash and other spices have differing levels of minerals which could affect issues like water retention (Which I seem to be sensitive to everything). He informed me I should cut all that out so that I can minimize the affects of anything going wrong.
I did not know that about Pam and the pan being hot and oil cold = food doesnt't stick!!! Awesome!
I have a suit case and lock... Kinda just want to wear the same jewelry all day long... Not big into taking things on and off as I have a tendency to lose stuff
I will be checking Claire's out.. I like there jewelry and it's cheap!

I heard about getting greased up before going out. I'll ask Mike what his plan is.. and see if he mentions that. :)

The only thing with spraying PAM on yourself is that many venues are now NOT allowing it along with certain posing oils & Dream Tan.....if you can, bring something for backup just in case they don't allow you to use what you brought....

How does this affect the tan spray? oil vs. gel??

I used 6 coats of Protan, beginning Wednesday & rinsing off each morning......then at the show I rubbed on the posing-gel stuff or some of the bronzer I had (which they no longer sell hmpf!!)

But it didn't affect my tanning stuff at all.....

A) I have no client's tomorrow, and I cancelled the additional hair appointment 'cuz I don't want highlights (so I have some extra time)
B) I stretch my quads every day

:) K
Two things
Can I do DB walking lunges, or does it have to be BB?
Second I did the low feet position before on the press and hack squat (where the knee will actually go out past the toe yes, yes compromised position) and with all my cardio my knees were killing me...
Should I stretch more?

CERTAINLY - DB'S ARE FINE....MOST FIND IT EASIER TO DO THE DEEP LUNGES WITH A BB...BUT I PREFER DBS ANYWAY

What I meant by 2/3s postion was get the feet low....and only complete from full extension of legs to 2/3 of the way down...it gets the angle right but you arent bottoming out...you can manipulate the angle of the platform to help as well...ie - not as steep....comes close to mimicing the feet-in-front smith squats

Same thing on the leg press...get the feet low and together...but only do 2/3 ROM

the extensions pick up the slack for the lower quad building.

ouuuuu save the knees... ahhhhhhhhh....

ICE... if you don't already after any strenuous knee activity (hardcore cardio or annemal like training).

... ibprophen too reduce inflamation

{understood that streching during..... and after... a lot, no quick pull leg up and done.... streeeeeeeeeech}

O.k. yeah I have done these before. He had me doing the 2/3 through most of my bulking phase. Right now he has my feet about in the mid of the platform... but I know exactly what you are talking about. I'll do it.

Thanks Sarge! I know all about ice, ib, and stretching... My client's don't do it enough! I'm actually one of the only trainer's that pushes stretching and flexibility. It's as important if not more so.. then the cardio and weights. If you can't move it's hard to do either!

Actually I'm not paying him any more :) He's doing it for free!
He has to write a thesis paper and is using me in it.

Yep I know about the stretching after a muscle is warm... See way to many people stretching before hopping on a tread and I want to hit them with a weight!

Well on top there was one that said MS/BS and it was at 77% where the rest of the business units were at around 90-99%. My friend says," who is MS/BS, maybe we should kick them out because they are slowing us down!" My boss looks at her starts laughing and says,"MS = Management department." We were dying laughing... JUNE 23 2006
Weight 133.8
Brain activity = low, low, lower...
Fuk, Fuk, Fuk, Fuk I hate friday and saturday's now
Feel like absolute Shiznit
a.m. cardio = 60 min.
watered grass flowers, weeded some, did laundry, cleaned dishes, made food
and here at work now, just had my oatmeal explode in the microwave.

Went to bed with a migraine last night decided against setting my alarm clock. Received 8 hours of sleep (GOOD)

My sacroilliac joint is killing me. Had a co-worker do some stretching for me last night. Hated P.m. cardio yesterday. The only thing that kept me going was my friend (the guy wayyyy over weight) he talked to me the whole time... It was to much energy to have a complete conversation so I just kept nodding my head yes and no... Thank God he just likes to talk and wasn't asking lots of questions. He was glad because I made his cardio go by faster.

Did posing... waiting on my friend to send the pix to me... hence I didn't have my camera... and even if I did I have I have no way of uploading them right now
I wish my legs were bigger, fuk.

Everyone loved the red. Only didn't get a one way or another response out of one girl. Everyone else said they liked it. My trainer looked at me and said, "is there something different about your hair?" I just looked at him with a glare.... Then later he walked by and said,"Are you keeping it that way for competition?" I said, "yes." He said,"Good I really like it on you."
Also went to the mall and got my jewelry for the competition yesterday.
Tonight =
p.m. weights Legs (NOoooooooooooooooooo)
p.m. cardio 45 min (Nooooooooooooooooooooo)
p.m. body fat will be taken
Going to work on my breathing and abs for posing
Trainer was happy with my scapular control and lat flexing.

O.k. change of mood....
I will not be in a bad mood today... I am ignoring all pain that I am having because I have no pain, I will get through today... I will love my new leg work-out because my friend put it together, and cardio will be a breeze....

I got it at Marshall Fields I would post a picture but I can't...
I got some dangley earrings, and a bracelet. Both have real crystals in them and look real. I went into Claire's but the jewelry just didn't do it for me. I mean I have bought some stuff in the past there it just really looked cheap to me. Looking online for a nice belly button ring. Found a place to get my wax job done.. just have to call and make the appointment. Also, talked to Mike about spray tan. The other girl and I are going to do the first two coats on each other then he's going to use Jan Tana (spelling) for the final coats.
If I recall right... My brain is not working right any more especially not today.

Thanks about the hair :)
